Faith brings God's hand to bear on a man's life for exploit as it is written in Isaiah 53:1,
"Who has believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?"When you believe the Word of God, God's hand will be stretched upon you so that you will begin to command exploits in your life.
In the book of 1 Kings, the Bible gives a story of King Ahab who was riding a chariot with horses heading to Jezreel. The Bible says that while the king was far ahead, Elijah was on the mountain praying for the rain to fall on the earth.
When the hand of God came upon Elijah, though he had no chariot or horses, he was granted supernatural speed which enabled him to outrun Ahab who had chariot and horses. This is what we read in 1 Kings 18:46,
"And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel."
Sometimes it looks like God takes time when we compare our speed with others. It looks like they are moving ahead while we are lefet behind.
The key is prayer : Elijah prayed earnestly and consistently and God granted him supernatural speed
2) PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WATCH AND BE CONSISTENT IN PRAYER
Brethren, know and believe today that if by faith you let the hand of God be stretched upon your life, the same way Elijah was empowered for supernatural speed, you also will be empowered for the same.
To anyone who read this meditation today, I declare that what no one in this generation has ever accomplished will become the order of the day in your life in the Name of Jesus Christ!
The Bible says in Psalms 20:7
"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. 8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright."
The Bible says again in Jeremiah 12:5
"If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the swelling of Jordan?"
Matthew 14:22 "And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him to the other side, while he sent the multitudes away."What is the secret behind the hand of supernatural speed?
The key is prayer : Elijah prayed earnestly and consistently and God granted him supernatural speed
James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
My prayer today
1) FATHER, LET YOUR MIGHTY AND OUTSTRETCHED HAND WORK SIGNS AND WONDERS IN OUR MIDST IN JESUS NAME
Deuteronomy 26:8 And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
2) PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WATCH AND BE CONSISTENT IN PRAYER
Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
SO SHALL IT BE!
