⏩ COVENANT OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS ⏪ DAY 14 "IT'S YOU TO ACTIVATE IT"

God's power is compared with soap in the bathroom. No matter how good smelling is the soap, no matter how able the soap is to remove the stain or the dust, no matter how able the soap is to make clean, as long as I don't take it and don't apply it on my body, it cannot do anything to me.

In the same way, the Word you do not put to work no matter how powerful it is cannot and will never do anything in your life.

When we say "activate", what do we mean? When we say  to activate we simply mean to act upon which implies to obey, to follow, to observe or to put into practice.

Among many cases in Scriptures, let me give you some that show clearly that activation is the believer's responsibility to demonstrate and display the power of God in his life.

Case number 1 : In 2 Kings 5:10, Elisha sent a messenger unto Naaman, saying, "Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean."

Case number 2 : In Luke 5:4, Jesus says to Peter, "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught."

Case number 3 : In John 9:11, Jesus says to the blind man, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.)"

Fact 1 : All those instructions and words carried in them the weight of the supernatural power of God.
In Naaman's case, the detergent that would cleanse him from his leprosy was in that word. In Peter's case, the solution that would end his frustration was in that word. In the blind's case, the power that would break his blindness and restore his sight was in that word.

Fact 2 : After the word was released, in each one of them, nothing changed until the instructions were activated meaning acted upon. Yet, the power was present in the Word but it would not show or manifest until the individual takes responsibility to put it to work so that it will work.
In Naaman's case, after the word was released, the leprosy was still present on his body. In Peter's case, after the word was spoken, the net was still empty. In the blind's case, after the word was released, he was still blind.

Fact 3 : When each man took responsibility to act upon the Word released to them, no one remained the same because each one's story changed, each one's concern turned into living testimony.

After Naaman activated the power by obeying to the Word, his leprosy was cleansed.
2 Kings 5:14 "Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean."
After Peter activated the power by acting upon the Word, his failure was turned into success.
Luke 5:6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

After the blind activated the power by putting the Word to work, he recovered his sight.
John 9:7 ... He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

QUESTION TO PONDER : What is the Word that the Lord spoke clearly to you but you still struggle to put into practice?
