BLOWING THE TRUMPET OVER MY MONTH OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS

UNDERSTANDING THE BLOWING OF TRUMPETS

From Scriptures, it is a divine ordinance to blow the trumpet in the first day of every month which is first of all prophetically designed to build an altar of renewal of the covenant with God for the new month. 

Secondly, it is designed to possess the new month through the declaration of the prophetic Word Of God. 

Finally it is designed to name the altar in order to secure the full delivery of the agenda of God for the month.

We find the ordinance in Numbers 10:10 where the Lord himself declares and instructs his people :

"... in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets..."

MY MONTH OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS 

After Jesus' death, his disciples were all terrorized  and overcome by fear. They were sad, discouraged, hopeless and depressed.

Jesus' death left them so helpless and ashamed that some preferred to go back to their home village while others decided to resume their previous job.

In that environment of confusion, in that mood of sadness, in that atmosphere of discouragement, the Bible says in Acts 1:3 that, 

"Jesus shewed himself alive [to them] after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God"

Reading this text from different versions, it is written, 

(ASV) To whom he also showed himself alive after his passion by MANY PROOFS,...

(BBE) And to whom he gave CLEAR and CERTAIN SIGNS THAT HE WAS LIVING,

(CEB) After his suffering, he showed them that he was alive with MANY CONVINCING PROOFS... 

(GNT) For forty days after his death HE APPEARED TO THEM MANY TIMES IN WAYS THAT PROVED BEYOND DOUBT THAT HE WAS ALIVE...

(GW) After his death Jesus showed the apostles A LOT OF CONVINCING EVIDENCE THAT HE WAS ALIVE...

(NIRV) After his suffering and death, he appeared to them. IN MANY WAYS HE PROVED THAT HE WAS ALIVE...

(WNT) He had also, after He suffered, shown Himself alive to them with MANY SURE PROOFS, appearing to them at intervals during forty days, and speaking of the Kingdom of God.

(WYC) to whom [and] he showed himself alive after his passion, by MANY ARGUMENTS [BY MANY ARGUMENTS, OR PROVINGS], appearing to them forty days, and speaking of the realm of God.

STANDING ON ACTS 1:3, WE NAME THIS MONTH OF APRIL 2017 AS 

"THE MONTH OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS"

WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THOSE PROOFS?

From this text, 2 characteristics appear to describe those proofs:

1st characteristic : They were not few. They were many. 

Among many proofs of Jesus’ resurrection, we can mention some such :

• his tomb is empty till date

• his pierced hands, his pierced feed and his pierce side are still present till date

• He made 12 appearances mentionned in the Bible after his resurrection and he continues to appear till date

2nd characteristic : They were infallible.

By infallible we see the greek word "tekmerion" which means that from which something is surely and plainly known. 

It means also indubitable evidence, convincing proof, proof beyond doubt or convincing evidence.

WHY PROOFS?

3 major reasons explain why proofs were needed to accompany Jesus’ resurrection: 

1st reason: The disciples needed proofs because resurrection is an UNUSUAL EVENT. 

In fact people are used to birth, death and burial. Resurrection is so unusual that people are not so much used to it and find hard to believe in it.

1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) But as it is written, EYE HATH NOT SEEN, nor EAR HEARD, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

2nd reason: The disciples needed proofs because Jesus was preparing them to be witnesses of his resurrection. 

Before his ascension to heaven, Jesus made clear to his disciples that they were appointed to be witnesses unto Him in the world. 

in Acts 1:8, it is written,

"Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Who is a witness? 

The role of a witness is not limited only to testimony that certain things really happened. A witness also proclaims the meaning and significance of those events.

The apostle John gives us a good example of a witness in his epistle.

- A witness is someone who has heard with his ears, who has seen with his eyes and who has handled with his hands.

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

- A witness is someone who does not need to explain things. All he just needds is to proclaim and declare what he has seen and what he has heard.

1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 

1 John 1:5 "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

3rd reason: Jesus provided proofs to his disciples to break their doubt and build their faith in the power of resurrection. 

By showing them the proofs of his resurrection, Jesus Christ was giving them the opportunity to touch him, to talk to him and to convince them that indeed they were not dreaming but living the truth and the reality of resurrection. 

BLOWING THE TRUMPET OVER MY MONTH OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS

DECLARATION 1 BLOW THE TRUMPET OF THANKSGIVING AND PRAISE

It is written in Psalms 100:4 

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, [and] bless his name.

PRAYER | FATHER, I ENTER INTO THIS NEW MONTH WITH THANKSGIVINGS AND PRAISES FOR YOUR MARVELS THE PAST MONTH. YOU HAVE PROVIDED. YOU HAVE PROTECTED. YOU HAVE PROMOTED. THANK YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

DECLARATION 2 BLOW THE TRUMPET TO COMMAND THE GATES OF THE MONTH TO BE OPENED

It is written in 

Psalms 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Psalms 24:9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift [them] up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

PRAYER | FATHER, AS I BUILD THIS ALTAR AT THE ENTRANCE OF THIS MONTH, I COMMAND ALL THE GATES OF MY MONTH OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS TO BE OPENED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !

DECLARATION 3 BLOW THE TRUMPET TO COMMAND DAILY SUPERNATURAL ESCORT  

It is written in 

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

PRAYER | FATHER, I PRAY THAT YOU WILL LEAD ME THIS MONTH. 

PRAYER | FATHER, I PRAY THAT YOU WILL STRETCH YOUR HAND OVER EACH WEEK, EACH DAY, EACH HOUR, EACH MINUTE AND EACH SECOND OF THIS MONTH. 

PRAYER | FATHER, I PRAY THAT YOUR GOODNESS, YOUR MERCY AND YOUR SIGNS WILL ESCORT ME EVERYDAY OF THIS MONTH IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

DECLARATION 4 BLOW THE TRUMPET FOR INFALLIBLE PROOFS  

IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)

"But as it is written, EYE HATH NOT SEEN, nor EAR HEARD, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

PRAYER | FATHER, I PRAY THAT THIS MONTH, YOU WILL FULFIL FOR ME, FOR MY FAMILY, FOR MY FAMILY, FOR MY CITY AND FOR MY COUNTRY WHAT EYE HATH NOT SEEN, WHAT EAR HATH NOT HEARD AND WHAT HAVE NOT ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! 

DECLARATION 5 BLOW THE TRUMPET FOR INFALLIBLE PROOFS  

IT IS WRITTEN in 1 John 1:1 (KJV)

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life"

PRAYER | FATHER, I PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST THAT I WILL TOUCH YOU THIS MONTH. I PRAY THAT I WILL TALK TO YOU THIS MONTH. I PRAY THAT I WILL HAVE LIVING PROOFS OF RESURRECTION IN MY BODY, IN MY SPIRIT, IN MY SOUL AND IN EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE!

DECLARATION 6 BLOW THE TRUMPET FOR INFALLIBLE PROOFS  

in Acts 1:8, it is written,

"... ye shall be witnesses ..."

PRAYER | FATHER, I PRAY THAT THIS MONTH YOU WILL USE ME EFFECTIVELY AS A POWERFUL WITNESS OF RESURRECTION NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER BUT BY HIS SPIRIT IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

SO SHALL IT BE.
