⏩ COVENANT OF MARVELS ⏪ DAY 7 "WOMAN BLESSED AMONG WOMEN"

SCRIPTURE
"And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: BLESSED ART THOU AMONG WOMEN." (Luke 1:28 KJVS)

KEY STATEMENT

One thing is to be a woman another thing is to be blessed among women. Today as we celebrate the international women's day, I would like to encourage one lady today to move from being a woman to being a woman blessed among women.

What makes a woman to be blessed among women?

1) The favour of God upon her life

In Luke 1:30,  the angel said unto Mary,
"Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God."
No woman who has the favour of God upon her life will ever miss to be singled out among women. Let's confirm this truth from Esther's life.

1) Divine favour in Esther’s life caused her to obtain everything she needed to prepare herself for the competition to the point she was preferred above others and was granted to live in the best place of the house of the women.
Esther 2:9 And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, [which were] meet to be given her, out of the king’s house: and HE PREFERRED HER and her maids unto the best [place] of the house of the women.

2) Divine favour in Esther’s life caused her to obtain favour in the sight of all them that looked her.
Esther 2:15 “ESTHER OBTAINED FAVOUR in the sight of all them that looked upon her.”

3) Divine favour in Esther’s life caused her to be loved above all the women and to be crowned as the queen.
Esther 2:17 And THE KING LOVED ESTHER ABOVE ALL THE WOMEN, and She Obtained Grace And Favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that HE SET THE ROYAL CROWN UPON HER HEAD, and MADE HER QUEEN instead of Vashti.

4) Divine favour in Esther’s life caused her to become an exception to the law and to be permitted to cross the boundary others were not permitted to cross.

Esther 5:2 And it was so, WHEN THE KING SAW ESTHER THE QUEEN STANDING IN THE COURT, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

5) Divine favour in Esther’s life caused her to sweatlessly win the heart of the king who was granting her everything she was requesting.
Esther 5:8 If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do tomorrow as the king hath said.
Esther 7:3 Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:
Esther 8:5 And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king’s provinces:

2) Her faith

The second characteristic of a woman blessed among women is faith. When Elisabeth met Mary, she said to her:
"Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.[...] Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord" (Luke 1:45)

The whole Bible is full of examples of women who made a huge difference among other women by their faith.

One of them is Jochebed the mother of Moses. She is mentioned as a woman of faith who spared the life of her baby.

She took the risk to hide her baby for three months despite the deadly and wicked king's decree. When she could no more hide him, she took again another risk by releasing him fearlessly in the river's brims.

The Bible says in Exodus 2:2
"And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child , she hid him three months."

Because of her faith, she did not only save Moses but also more than 1 million of men and women who were saved later from Egypt through the ministry of Moses.

A WORD FOR YOU : DO  NOT GIVE UP  ON YOUR  OFFSPRING. LIKE JOCHEBED, HIDE THEM UNDER THE WINGS OF YOUR FAITH BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MANY LIVES WILL BE SAVED THROUGH THEM.
