40 DAYS AT JESUS’ FEET DAY 14 "EPHPHATHA"

40 DAYS AT JESUS’ FEET

Today is day 14 JESUS HEALS THE DEAF AND DUMB (Mark 7:31-37)

PRAYER 1

The people who came to Jesus with the deaf and dumb man came with their own protocol and own formula in the mind

In Mark 7:32 (KJV)  It is written "they beseech him to put his hand upon him."

How do you come to Jesus in prayer? Do you come to the Lord expecting Jesus to follow your own protocol and formula or do you come with faith in your heart and readiness of mind to follow Jesus’ protocol and formula?

LET US PRAY

Father, I repent for putting you in the box of my small mind. I ask and pray that you free my mind and soul from any personal formula and protocol so that yours prevail in the name of Jesus Christ.

Read and pray with Hebrews 4:16 and Hebrews 10:22

Father, in my relationship with you, I pray that you deliver me from being superficial and religious in the name of Jesus Christ.

Read and pray with Luke 5:4

PRAYER 2

In verse 32, we see that Jesus never followed the protocol of those people. Instead, the Bible says “Jesus  took him away from the crowd to be alone with him”

What is the status of your personal relationship with Jesus Christ? What is the status of your one-on-one with Jesus Christ? Are you aware and conscious of your uniqueness in God or are you held captive of “the multitude” way of life.

LET US PRAY

Father, I declare divine judgment against anything hindering my one-on-one relationship with Jesus Christ. Bestow me the grace of a quality life wholly and  totally dedicated to you in Jesus Name.

Read and Pray with Psalm 94:1

PRAYER 3

In verse 33, Jesus ignored the formula and protocol presented by those who brought him the deaf and dumb  man. He did things according to the wisdom from above.

It is written in Mark 7:33 (KJV)  And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

Are you ready to give up your own and limited wisdom and to submit to God’s wisdom?

Read and pray with Isaiah 55:9-10 and Romans 11:33

LET US PRAY

Father, you’ve created everything by your Wisdom. I therefore pray that today that my own wisdom dies and be buried so that your wisdom fill my heart.

PRAYER 4

Jesus touched the damaged the part of this man. He put his fingers associated with his saliva.

PERSONAL SUPPLICATION

What is it that is damaged in your life? Mention it and engage prayer that the Lord Jesus stretches his hand to restore it today.

PRAYER 5

In the process of healing, Jesus looked up to heaven. Why? Because it is from heaven that comes the revelation of the picture of how things should be on the esrth.

It is written in Matthew 6:10 … “ Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”.

Again in Matthew 19:8, it is written “in the beginning it was not so”

Do you have the heavenly picture of how your life was designated by  God to be on the esrth? Are your eyes lifted up to heaven for help?

LET US PRAY

Father, I lift up my eyes to you for help. By your Spirit, I pray for my life, m husband, my wife, my children, my business and I pray that every area of my life on earth be as it is in heaven IN JESUS NAME.

Read and pray with Psalm 121

Father, in the Name of Jesus I break and destroy by the power of your blood anything pulling me down, causing me to be unable to look up, to focus, to look ahead.

Read and pray with Psalm 23

PRAYER 6

After looking up, it is written that “Jesus sighed”

Are you comfortable with the kind of life you live or do you have a need of change? Do you sigh to express how you desire the change of story?

LET US PRAY

Father, I am tired of living as a slave of sin. I am tired of living as a miserable. I am tired of living broke. I am tired of …. I pray that you release your grace over my life for a change of level and story.

Read and pray with Genesis 32:24-29

PRAYER 7

In verse 34, one word “EPHPHATA” from the mouth of Jesus Christ put an end to the siege in the life of this man.

LET US PRAY

Father, send a word to me that will terminate this siege and plague

Read and pray with Matthew 8:8; Matthew 8:16; Proverbs 16:24
