𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟰 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 — 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲!
𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟰 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 — 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲!
🔵 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟳𝟯:𝟮𝟴 𝗡𝗞𝗝𝗩, "𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱; 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗢𝗗, 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀."
🔵 You’ve been looking around. You’ve been watching the arrogant prosper. You’ve been watching the wicked build their empires while you are grinding, praying, fasting, and wondering, “God, where is my breakthrough? Why is it so hard for me?” You are exhausted. You are disillusioned.
🔵 The psalmist Asaph was exactly where you are. But then, he went into the sanctuary of God. He got a revelation of eternity. And out of that holy place, he came back with a battle cry that must become your battle cry today.
🔵 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟳𝟯:𝟮𝟴 𝗡𝗞𝗝𝗩,, "𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works."
🔵 Look at the two words: "𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲." This is not a suggestion; this is a defiant, holy rebellion against the culture!
🔵 The world is running after money, but as for me! The culture is running after comfort, but as for me! Everybody else is compromising to get to the top, 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲!
🔵 Then Asaph says, "𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱."
🔵 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 "𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿" 𝗶𝘀 קָרוֹב (𝗾𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘃). 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗼𝘄.
🔵 Qarov is the language of the priesthood. It means to approach with intention, to step into the sacred space, to press into the immediate presence of the Almighty.
🔵 It means proximity. It means pressing in so close that you can hear the heartbeat of heaven!
🔵 Asaph is saying, "My highest good, my ultimate treasure, my supreme benefit is not my bank account, it is not my health, it is not my reputation—my absolute greatest good is the nearness of God!"
🔵 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲? 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲! 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗺, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗛𝗶𝗺, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱!
