𝗡𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝟲:𝟯 (𝗡𝗜𝗩) “I sent them this reply: ‘I am carrying out a great project and cannot go down. Why should I stop this work to come to you?’”

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

𝗦𝗼 𝗜 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂—what are you building? Are you building a cave… or a mansion? A tower… or an empire? A shop… or a mall? A stall… or a kingdom?

𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵: I’m building a legacy. I’m raising a tower. I’m establishing a kingdom. I’m expanding an empire.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. There are people who do nothing—but love to distract those who are doing something. But I’m engaged in important work. I’m constructing something eternal. So I cannot come down—not for noise, not for nonsense, not for distraction.

𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀: Those who build small things can easily be pulled away. They pause, they wander, they lose focus. But those who are building something great—something that will outlive them—do not permit distraction.

𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟭𝟰:𝟮𝟴 (𝗘𝗥𝗩): “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?”

𝗦𝗼 𝗜 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻—𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴? 𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴?

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗹𝘆. And don’t come down—until it’s finished.
