December Hope | Day 20: Anticipate the Dawn After the Longest Night

Day 20: Anticipate the Dawn After the Longest Night

Scripture : “For His anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5 (NIV)

Seasons change. Darkness fades.

Your night of sorrow—whether from loss, betrayal, or delay—has an expiration date. God is not a God of perpetual mourning; He is the God of morning mercies. The same power that rolled away the stone from Jesus’ tomb is rolling away the weight from your shoulders. Joy is not just coming—it’s already on its way.

New Declaration:

My weeping has an end date—joy is rising, and my morning is guaranteed by the faithfulness of God!

(Psalm 30:5; Lamentations 3:22–23)

Prayer :

Father of compassion, hold me through this night. Let Your presence be my comfort and Your Word my song. I thank You in advance for the joy that is breaking over my horizon. I will not sleep in despair—I will rise in expectation!
