14-day devotional NO MORE HAND-TO-MOUTH LIVING
DAY 2 – RECOGNIZE YOUR FIRSTBORN RIGHT
Psalm 89:27 – “Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.”
In the Kingdom of God, firstborn status is not about physical birth order—it is a divine appointment. To be firstborn is to carry authority, inheritance, and dominion. Esau lost his birthright because he despised it, settling for a bowl of stew. Jacob, though second-born, valued the blessing and received it.
You are God’s firstborn in Christ. This means you are destined for abundance, leadership, and spiritual inheritance. You are not called to scrape for survival or live beneath your privilege. Recognize your firstborn right and refuse to trade it for temporary fixes or worldly shortcuts.
Rise up and declare that you will not forfeit your God-given inheritance. Stand in the authority of your firstborn position and claim rest, favor, and divine provision.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for making me Your firstborn in Christ. I refuse to despise my birthright. I embrace my inheritance of favor, victory, and abundance. I rise in authority to claim everything rightfully mine in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
