7-DAY DEVOTION: “WEEK OF DIVINE MELODIES”

DAY 1: SUNDAY, 6TH JULY 2025 – *The Power of a New Song  

                                                                                                                                             

Key Verse:  

"And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord." (Psalm 40:3 KJV)  

Lesson:  

God replaces sorrow with a new song. Just as David transitioned from distress to praise, your season of weeping is making way for a melody of victory. Songs are spiritual weapons—when you sing faith, fear flees.  

Application:  

Identify a "song of sorrow" (e.g., negative confessions) and replace it with Scripture-based praise.  

Sing aloud today, even if you don’t feel like it.  

Prophetic Proclamation:  

"The Lord is releasing a fresh anthem of joy over your life! Chains of despair are breaking now!"  

Prayer:  

"Father, drown out the enemy’s lies with Your song of deliverance. Let my voice declare Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
