● Soldiers mock Him with a thorn crown and purple robe ( 15:16-20). Crucified as “King of the Jews,” He’s taunted by onlookers ( 15:21-32).
● Darkness falls; Jesus dies, the temple curtain tears, and a centurion declares, “Truly this man was God’s Son!” ( 15:33-41).
● Joseph of Arimathea buries Him in a tomb, witnessed by Mary Magdalene and Mary ( 15:42-47).
