Luke 4 details Jesus’ wilderness testing, where He resists Satan’s temptations by wielding Scripture.

Empowered by the Spirit, He launches His ministry in Galilee, proclaiming Isaiah’s prophecy: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me…” (4:18-19).

In Nazareth, His message incites fury, foreshadowing rejection. He heals a demonized man and Peter’s mother-in-law, demonstrating authority over evil and sickness.

Crowds seek Him, but He withdraws to pray, prioritizing divine mission over fame. Jesus models victory over temptation, spiritual clarity, and compassion in action.
