Reading Of The Day* | Luke 5
Key Verse: “Do not be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” (Luke 5:10)
In Luke 5, Jesus transforms doubters into disciples through radical faith. He instructs weary fishermen to cast nets again, resulting in a miraculous catch—prompting Peter, James, and John to leave everything and follow Him (vv. 1-11).
Later, Jesus heals a leper with a touch (vv. 12-16) and paralyzes critics by forgiving and healing a paralyzed man lowered through a roof (vv. 17-26). He calls Levi the tax collector, a societal outcast, to join His mission (vv. 27-32).
The chapter reveals Jesus’ authority over nature, sickness, sin, and tradition, inviting all to trust Him beyond human logic.

Like Peter, you may feel unworthy or exhausted, but Jesus sees your potential. When obedience feels illogical, lean into His call. Your “empty nets” today could become tomorrow’s harvest. Step out in faith—He’s rewriting your story! 🌟
