The "7" I Am' Statements Of Jesus in John | FRI 14-02-2025 | I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE
● “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25).
● Jesus was very good friend to Martha, Mary and Lazarus. After Lazarus died, Martha and Mary were very sad and grieved. When Jesus came, He wanted to give them hope and comfort. He told them something very important: “I am the resurrection and the life.”
What Did Jesus Mean?
●When Jesus said this, He meant that He has the power to give life, even after someone has died. He explained it more by saying, “Anyone who believes in Me will never really die.” *John 11:25-26). This was a way of telling them that even though people might stop living here on Earth, they can still have life with Jesus forever.
A Miracle for Lazarus
● To show that what He said was true, Jesus did an amazing miracle. He went to where Lazarus was buried and brought him back to life! Martha and everyone else were so surprised and happy to see Lazarus alive again. This miracle showed everyone just how powerful Jesus is.
Jesus Overcomes Death
● Later on, something even more incredible happened. Jesus Himself died, but He didn’t stay dead. After three days, He came back to life! This was His way of showing that He had power over death, not just for Lazarus, but for everyone who believes in Him.
A Promise for Us All
● Because Jesus rose from the dead, He made a promise that everyone who believes in Him can live forever, even after they die. This means that we don’t have to be afraid of death because Jesus has made a way for us to be with Him always.
Today, Jesus is telling you, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this! You can be with Me forever.”
● So, whenever you feel sad or worried, remember what Jesus did for Lazarus and for all of us. He is the light that shines even in the darkest times, bringing hope and life to everyone who believes in Him. Go ahead and Praise Him !
