● Also known as tehillah, this type of praise is spontaneous and creative. It is singing from a melody in your heart by adding words to it.
● This refers to a special kind of singing-it is singing unprepared, unrehearsed songs.
● "And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day." - *Psalm 35:28, NKJV*
● Today, God is speaking to someone among us from *Psalm 144:9: “You will sing a new song.”*
● In *John 5:1-9*, a man had been paralysed for 38 years. When Jesus appeared, He healed him and empowered him to sing a new song.
● *For 38 years...*
● His songs were those of sickness, stagnation, and delay. But when Jesus appeared, they transformed into songs of health, advancement, and speed.
● Initially, his song expressed a plea for others to carry him. However, when Jesus appeared, the song changed; he was empowered to carry what had once carried him.
● His song was "I can't walk," "No one loves me." But when Jesus appeared, the song changed. Jesus enabled him to walk.
● In this season of new beginnings, may the old songs of murmuring, complaints, and disappointments depart from you. Receive new songs of gratitude, joy, and celebration in the Name of Jesus Christ!
