● Zamar is one of the most recognised forms of worship, involving the praise of God through stringed instruments and singing. This type of worship is particularly common in churches.

1 Chronicles 16:9, NKJV "Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; talk of all His wondrous works!"

● Zamar was frequently employed by King David, who played stringed instruments and communicated with God. The essence of zamar worship lies in singing praises and psalms to the Lord while playing instruments.

● When Saul was tormented by demons, he found relief when David was (Zamar) singing under the anointing. As recorded in 1 Samuel 16:23,"And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took a harp and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him."

● If you find yourself in a bad mood or feeling irritated, try praising God while playing any instrument you have available. You'll be amazed at how the atmosphere around you changes.
