Morning Dew | Monday 13-01-2024 | 6 Dimensions of Effective Prayer | KEY 1 | BE PERSISTENT AND PERSEVERANT
● In Matthew 11:12, Jesus says, "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."
● A meticulous examination of the miracles performed by Jesus reveals a notable pattern: none occurred without the direct involvement of the beneficiary or the indirect contribution of those interceding on behalf of another.
● Indeed, there are miracles that transpired without any participation from the beneficiary, but such occurrences are rare.
● In most instances, however, the beneficiaries had to demonstrate remarkable tenacity, showing persistence and resilience while overcoming various obstacles to ultimately receive their miracle.
● Case 1 : Bartimaeus got his sight back because he was persistent and perseverant. (Matthew 20:29-34; Mark 10:46-52; Luke 18:35-43)
● Case 2 : The 2 blind men started praying for their healing from the street. But Jesus never heard nor answered them on the street . They persevered and persisted in following Jesus Christ until they got their miracle in the house. ( Matthew 9:27-29)
● Case 3 : The Syrophoenician woman who approached Jesus crying out to him to heal her daughter, who was possessed by a demon. Initially, Jesus ignored her when she came to him. But she persevered until she got the answer to her prayer. ( Matthew 15:23-24)
● Lift your voice and Pray...
