Our thoughts are not random; they originate from the very core of who we are. They have their sources from the heart. 

In Mark 7:21, Jesus reminds us that "from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, …"

Evil thoughts lead to evil feelings. Evil feelings lead to evil actions, evil actions lead to evil habits, evil habits lead to evil character and evil character leads to evil destiny.

Pray ...

1. Repentance from Evil Thoughts  

Lord, according to Genesis 6:5, you see the wickedness in our hearts and minds. I confess any evil thoughts and intentions and ask for Your forgiveness. Help me turn away from sin and towards Your righteousness.

2. Renewal of the Mind  

 

Heavenly Father, Romans 12:2 teaches us to be transformed by the renewal of our minds. Please renew my mind so I can discern what is Your good, pleasing, and perfect will.

3. Guarding the Heart and Mind  

Father, Proverbs 15:26 tells us that the thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to You. Protect my heart and mind from wickedness and help me to focus on what is pure and honorable in Your sight.
