MORNING ALTAR OF PRAYER | THIS IS THE SET TIME OF FAVOUR | DAY 1 | MONDAY 14-09-2023
INTRODUCTION AND OPEN PRAYERS
Praise be the living God word of Life. I welcome you to the Kingdom Bible study.
This is a new week that the Lord is giving to us and we give him the praise and the glory. He deserves it forever. He deserves the glory. Not unto us as the Bible says, but unto you be given the glory.
Now lift your voice where you are and just say to the Lord thank you for this opportunity to be again in the presence of God this morning.
Father, thank you for today. A new day that you have given unto us, O Lord, we will be ever grateful unto you for everything that you do, you did, and you will do for us.
Thank you for this new month. Thank you for this new week. Thank you for the service yesterday of showers of blessing.
We strongly believe that indeed you will confirm your Word in our lives. And as you said, there shall be showers of blessing in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God
.
Thank you, Lord. Blessed be your holy name in Jesus precious name we have prayed, and we all say, Amen and Amen. Glory be to God.
What is the Lord saying this week?
From Psalm Chapter 102, verse 13, “You will arise, and have mercy on Zion, for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, is come” (NKJV)
From the KJV, we read, “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come”.
Now, this week, the Lord says, “The time to favor you has finally come at your work place, in school, in the business in which you are, the time to favor you has finally come”.
I welcome you to the Sunday service, the service of divine favor. God says ... the set time …
The God we serve is the God of times and seasons. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that “he does everything beautiful in his time”.
Concerning you, this is your time of favor. What eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, what no one has ever thought about, that is you who will experience that kind of favor. It is not what Pastor Kasuku says. It is the Lord from the throne who says so. This is your time of favor.
You will be favoured after the order of Esther.
You will be favoured after the order of Joseph.
You will be favoured after the order of Daniel.
You will be favoured after the order of Christ.
You will be favoured after the order of the first Church in the name of Jesus Christ.
Tune in this week. Connect to the devotion that will be provided to you and keep in mind that you are coming next Sunday to plug into divine favor, to connect to divine favor. And as you come with this in mind, it will show in your life in Jesus Name.
Can somebody say Amen to that? Praise be the Living God.
Well ... There is a question that can be asked as we start this Bible Study today.
CHAPTER 1 | WHAT IS FAVOR?
When I look at the dictionary, to favour means to give preferential treatment. To favour means to treat somebody with goodwill. To favour means to show exceptional kindness to someone, to show extra kindness in comparison to the treatment of others. That is preferential treatment. That is divine favour.
So, it means in another word, that when favour is upon you, you cannot and you can never be treated the same way with others.
When somebody has favour, favour makes them special, not because of them, but because of the one who favours them.
So, when you are favoured, it means in other word that you are special. That is favour.
A man of favour, a woman of favour cannot and never be treated the same way with others. That one never forget.
A man who is favoured, Favour makes him special.
Let me give you some examples that will help you understand what I mean when I say that a man carries divine favour.
CHAPTER 2 | FAVOUR, A SPIRITUAL MARK
Favour is compared like a spiritual mark that God puts on a man. When you put that mark, it means another word that the one who is marked will be treated differently from others.
The one who has the mark of favour will be distinguished. The man who has the mark will be different with others. His case will be different from others. That is favour.
Your case is different.
If you carry favour, definitely your case will be different from others.
So, favour is a Spiritual mark on somebody.
Now, let me give you the confirmation from scriptures.
CASE 1 | JOSEPH
You have the case of Joseph. Joseph had a mark of favor on him.
Genesis 39:21. The Bible says the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
That is divine favour.
They were all prisoners. But Joseph was a prisoner with the mark of favour on him.
Verse 22 and the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand, all the prisoners that were in the prison and whatsoever they did, he was the doer of it.
All were prisoners, but the one who has favour, the keeper of the prison commit the prisoners into his hand. That is favour.
Verse 23 the Keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand because the Lord was with him and that which he did, the Lord made it to prosper.
The source of divine favour is divine presence.
The reason why Joseph was enjoying divine favour was because of divine presence.
The Bible says very clearly that the Lord was Joseph and he gave him favour.
God gives Favour to those who keeps his presence. You cannot have God on your side and lack favor on the side of men.
You need God on your side. Then you will enjoy. This is your time of favour.
This is your time for favour. This is your time for divine favour.
You see? They were all together in the same prison. They were all arrested, but there was somebody among the people who was distinguished because of favour.
You will be distinguished in the name of Jesus Christ.
Favour will distinguish you in Jesus Name. At work favour will distinguish you. In the ministry, favour will distinguish you.
That is what favour means. That is what favour does.
What everybody is going through, it will be minus you because of divine favour in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Lord is marking you for favour.
In this season, you have all applied, but the favour will locate and distinguish you and cause your application to draw the attention of your boss and to be chosen among the multitude because of favour. It will be your experience in the Name Of Jesus Christ!
CASE 2 | ISRAEL
Let me give you another example. We have the example of Israel. When Israel was about to come out of Egypt, the Bible says in Exodus Chapter 3 Verse 21...
I will give these people favour in the sight of the Egyptians and it shall come to pass that when you go, you shall not go empty.
God says ... I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians.
Now go to Exodus 11:3
And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.
You see Favour? The one who was mistreating Israel yesterday became the one to do good to them.
Yesterday, they were mistreating them. Today, when God gave them favour, the Egyptians started releasing what they had.
Let me tell you. People will not give to you because they have money or they have things to give to you. No. It is not true. People will give to you because you have favour.
This is your set time for divine favour.
In this month of September 2023, you will experience the raw divine Favour of God in Jesus name.
You can't have favour and be empty. You can't have favour and lack. No.
God says, "...they will not go empty..."
You will never be empty again in the name of Jesus Christ.
When you carry favour, you will be treated with kindness. God will force your enemies to do you good. God will force your enemies to give to you.
They don't love you, but they still give to you. That is favor. That is favor. They don't want you. They don't like you, yet they give to you whatever you need. That is divine favour and that is your time to experience such in this time in this season, Hallelujah.
Israel was not having access to their salaries and payment because it was held by some by Pharaoh. But when favour came, the siege was broken.
Listen to me. Favour is a siege breaker.
Any siege in your life will be broken by divine favour.
CASE 3 | ESTHER
We have the case of Esther. In Esther 2:17, the Bible says,
And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
The Bible says that Esther received royal favour above other virgins.
You see? Favour is always compared with others. It is to be treated differently from others.
Watch this ... and the King loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than other virgins so that he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
You see favour?
Among many, favour is what will make you to be chosen. Favour is what will make you to be chosen.
Esther was a beautiful woman. But it is not her beauty that gave her access to the king, to the palace. No, it was divine favour.
I believe that there were women better than Esther but favour located her. And whatever the king had was released.
This week is the week of release and the release will happen in response to divine favour.
You see Esther? She was disqualified. She was a foreigner. She could not be a wife of the king, but favour located her. And made her a queen instead of Vashti.
I declare over you. You will replace the Vashti in the name of Jesus Christ.
I declare over you. You will take the place that was ordained originally by God for you. That will be your experience. But it will happen by divine favor, not by human manipulation, but divine favour.
CASE 4 | DANIEL.
Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Daniel and his companions were differently treated among their peers because of God's favour upon them.
Divine Favour is real.
Daniel 1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
Why? Because of favour.
Now let me give you a simple advice and I beg you to take it..
.
Don't run after being loved. Run after being favored. There is no where a man who carries favour who can be hated. No. It does not exist.
Divine favour is real. If God did it to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and Joseph, God will do it also for you.
I was trying to look at all the Scriptures and all the cases we have read, and I saw that there was a pattern in those Scriptures. There was a pattern in all those people.
CHAPTER 3 | THE PATTERN OF DIVINE FAVOUR
That is the next point ... the pattern.
Now when you read
Genesis 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
PATTERN 1 | IT IS THE LORD WHO GIVES FAVOUR
Now the first observation I want to take note of today is that it is the Lord who gives. The Lord is the ultimate source of favor. It is the Work of the Lord.
The Bible says ... He gave favor unto Joseph. Are you hearing what I'm talking about?
When you go to Exodus 3:21,
And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:
Favour is the work of God, not the product of your manipulation. You can't manipulate God.
Exodus 11:3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.
You will encounter such a favour in your life if at all you believe.
God is the source of favour. That is the first point I wanted you to take note of.
PATTERN 2 | FAVOUR IS ALWAYS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SIGHT
Favour is always associated with the sight. Favour changes the way people look at you. That is favour. Favour targets the eyes of people.
God says, ... I will give these people favor in the sight of the Egyptians.
So favour is related to the sight.
Genesis 39:22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.
Exodus 12:36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
Because of divine favour, you will spoil your enemies. You will spoil those who have said that you have reached the end in the name of Jesus Christ. It will be clear that you are a servant of God, a woman of God. Hallelujah!!!

Loved above all the other women... That is favor.
I want to trust and want to believe in God that will be your experience. It will come to pass in your life in Jesus Precious name.
There are people who carry on them the marks of disfavour, where nobody is kind to you. God will give you favor.
PATTERN 3 | FAVOUR ALWAYS COMES TOGETHER WITH A HANDOVER AND A TAKEOVER
Genesis 39:22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.
Exodus 12:36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
Esther 2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
Can I tell you something? Depart from evil. I say depart from evil because that thing is a destruction of destinies.
Among million of different cases, your case will be treated differently from others. Your case is different because you have the mark of favor on you.
If at all there is a mark of disgrace, I pray that it will be shattered today in the name of Jesus Christ.
CHAPTER 4 | WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO ENJOY DIVINE FAVOUR?
So the question we're asking this morning is, what does it take to enjoy divine favor?
Key 1 | Depend on God over everything concerning your life as the ultimate source of favour.
Do you want to enjoy divine Favour? Do you want to be treated differently than others? Do you want your case to be different? Do you want to enjoy preferential treatment the way you have seen in Joseph, Daniel, Esther and so forth?
Depend on God. Do nothing without God. Do everything with God. Dwell in the presence of God. That is the cheapest way to enjoy divine favor.
Genesis 39 verse 21 ... The Lord was with Joseph and gave him favour.
Do nothing without God. Don't step in a relationship without God. Don't go in a place without God. Don't sign a contract without God. Don't enter a house without God. Don't travel without God. Don't make a step without God. That is how you can enjoy divine favour in a very cheap way.
... The presence of God ... God was with Joseph and he found favor. May you have the grace to depend on God over everything that you do.
Key 2 | Depart from evil.
Sin is a favour killer.
Joseph ran away from sexual immorality and he found favour.
Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the food from the King's table and he found favor.
Yeah.
You can't live in iniquity and expect favor. It doesn't work that way.
You can't be sleeping with men and women there in town and expect favour. It doesn't work that way. You can't be cheating and expect favour. It doesn't work that way.
You can't steal and expect favour.
You can’t be a drunker and expect favour.
Favour belongs to those who depend on God and those who depart from evil. That is how you can encounter divine favour.
CLOSING PRAYERS
- Lift your voice and pray with me this morning,
- in the name of Jesus Christ, declare with me in the name of Jesus.
- By reason of divine favor among millions of cases, my case will be treated differently from others
- Declare in the name of Jesus, I will not be ignored because of favour upon my life.
- I will not be lost in the crowd because of favour upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
- I will not beg for attention. Because of divine favour,
- Declare that the name of Jesus I will not be empty handed because of divine favour.
- Declare in the name of Jesus Christ that divine favour made Joseph a king, made Esther a queen, made Daniel a Prime Minister. Divine favour will enthrone me in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Favour always comes together with a handover and a take over.
- I declare and decree this morning in the name of Jesus Christ, I will experience handover and take over In the name of Jesus Christ the son of. The living God.
- Thank you for the favour upon my. Life
- As I'm starting this new month, as I'm starting this New week we will fast for three days. That will be the three days of divine favor. And you will experience it in the name. Of Jesus Christ.
- Thank you for my life in the name of the Father, in the name of the Son. In the name of the Holy Spirit, we have prayed and we all say. Amen and Amen.
- I speak favour on you as you start your day.
- I speak favour on you as you go to work.
- I speak favor on you as you start the week.
- You have a case in court, favour will be on you.
- You have some businesses in town, favour will be upon your life and God will put a mark of favour on you from henceforth in the name of Jesus the Christ, the son of the living God. We have spoken and we have prayed and we all say Amen and Amen. Glory be to God.
- Now you have a blessed day ahead and God bless you. And do good. In Jesus name, we continue tomorrow in the name of the Lord we have prayed. Preached and we all say Amen. Thank you.
