A LIVING LETTER OF HIS RESURRECTION | DAY 4 | SCHOOL OF UNCOMMON PROOFS | TH 13-04-2023

*Chapter 1 | The appearances of Jesus versus the revelation of Jesus*

*Appearance* is the act of appearing or coming into sight; the act of becoming visible to the physical eye.

*Revelation* is the act of unveiling, removing the cover and become visible to the spiritual eye.

Something strange I have noticed related to the appearances of Jesus. None of those to whom Jesus appeared recognized Jesus at first. At first, Jesus appeared as a stranger, then recognized as Jesus.

*Case 1 | Mary Magdalene supposed that Jesus was a gardener. Until Jesus called her by her name, then she recognized him*.

*John 20:15* Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

*Joh 20:16*  Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

*Case 2 | The disciples of Emmaus did not recognize him until when Jesus broke down Scriptures to them and the bread and shared the Holy Communion with them, then their eyes were opened*

*Luke 24:15* And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

*Luke 24:16* But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.

*Luke 24:30*  And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

*Luke 24:31* And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

*Case 3 | The disciples at the sea of Tiberias did not know that it was Jesus until when they cast the net and caught the fish, then they were able to recognize him*.

*John 21:4* But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

*John 21:5* Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

*John 21:6* And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

*John 21:7*  Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

*Chapter 2 | Threefold channel of revelation : his voice, his word and his works.*

How do you recognize if it is the Lord? How does the Lord reveal himself to us? Through His Voice.

*John 10:4*  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

*QUESTION | DO YOU KNOW HIS VOICE?*

How do you recognize if it is the Lord? How does the Lord reveal himself to us? *Through the inner fire of the Word burning in the heart and the fellowship with the Lord*.

*Luke 24:32* And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

*Jeremiah 20:9 (NIV)* his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in;

*QUESTION | DO YOU FELLOWSHIP WITH THE LORD AND HIS WORD?*

How do you recognize if it is the Lord? How does the Lord reveal himself to us? *Through the supernatural, through miracles, signs and wonders.*

*Chapter 3 | SHOWING UP VERSUS SHOWING FORTH*

God is purposeful. He does nothing for nothing. There is always a why behind/beyond whatever he does.

Therefore, what was the purpose behind the apparitions of Jesus Christ after his resurrection?

Please, understand that the purpose of Christ behind his appearance was not to show off.

Showing off is to behave in a manner intended to impress· And behind showing off, there is pride.

If it was to show off, he could have appeared to the people who crucufied him like Herod, the High Priests, the Pharisees, the Scribes etc. to prove to them that he was alive.

He never did so and we have no record that he appeared to them.

But the thing is ... He did not show off, but he showed up to his disciples and followers.

The purpose behind him showing up to them was for them to show forth (to reflect, to manifest, to publish; to proclaim, to make known by praising and proclaiming, to make widely known ...) his glory, his power, his greatness ...

*Luke 24:33* And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,

*Luke 24:34* Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.

*John 20:17* Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

*Act 1:8* Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

*CHAPTER 4 | YOU ARE CALLED TO BE A LIVING MESSAGE OF RESURRECTION*

● There are people on earth who will never read the Bible other than through your life.

● The purpose behind the School Of The Uncommon Proofs is for you to become a living message, a living proof of the Resurrection.

*2 Corinthians 3:3*, “You are a letter from Christ…”

● Now the question is … What is a letter?

● By definition, *A letter is a written message that can be hand-written or printed on paper sent to a recipient via mail or post in an envelope*.

• The question is … When people read your life, what do they read? What’s the message they can read through your life?

Father, in this season, let my life be a living message of the supernatural in my generation and in generations to come in the Name Of Jesus Christ.

• *Why does God want you to be a living message?*

For people to see him through you

For people to know him through you

For people to believe in him through you

*PART 1 | GOD WANTS PEOPLE TO SEE HIM THROUGH YOU*

● That’s why in *1 John 4:17*, we read, ” …as he is so also are we in this world”

● The question is How? The answer is Through the supernatural.

● In *Micah 7:10*, we read … “ My enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is the LORD your God?” My eyes will look upon her; now she will be trampled down like the mire of the streets.

● In *Psalm 40:3*, we read … ”He put a new song in my mouth … Many will see…"

● From *Micah 7:10*, we learn that The supernatural is ordained first of all to display, to show of, to manifest, to reveal the nature and the power of our God in one hand and in another hand to remove shame from us.

● As a matter of fact, when you become a living message of the supernatural, no one will dare asking you again where is your God because they will see your God.

● Friends, you will agree with me that there is nothing as shameful and humiliating as to be asked by the unbelievers around us, “where is your God?”

● More than ever, we need the performance of the supernatural in our lives in order for us to boast in our God. Hallelujah !!!

● We need the performance of the supernatural so that we can boast in how God is Great. How God is Powerful. How God is Holy. How God is good. How God is love. How God is rich. How God is kind. How God is glorious.

● As we engage prayers in this season, I pray that such questions should never be asked again in your life. I pray that such shame and reproach will never be your portion in the Name Of Jesus Christ !

● I declare *Micah 7:10* and *Psalm 40:3* over your life in this season … Your enemies shall see and many shall see in the Name Of Jesus Christ !

*PART 2 | GOD WANTS PEOPLE TO KNOW HIM THROUGH YOU*

● By redemption, you have been redeemed to be a sign and a wonder in this generation and in generations to come. Isaiah :1 / Ezekiel 24:27

*Isa 8:18*  Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

● We find the answer in Ezekiel 24:27 "... thou shalt speak, ..., and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

● I underline what the Lord tells Ezekiel at the end of the verse ... thou shalt be a sign … and they shall know that I am the Lord

● Elijah prayed God to send fire that people will know that He is God. God did it.

● May I tell you from the Lord this morning ... You shall be a sign of the supernatural that will make people around you know that the Lord is God. Hallelujah!

● God will heal you, and people will know He is a Healer

● God will prosper you, and people will know He is a the God who prospers.

● God will bless you, and people will know He is the God who blessed. HALLELUJAH !!!

*PART 3 | GOD WANTS PEOPLE TO BELIEVE HIM THROUGH YOU*

● By Covenant, God has ordained you to be a witness of his doings in this world for people to believe in Him. Hallelujah !

● Christianity has no meaning without the supernatural. Without the supernatural, Christianity is dead. 1 Corinthians 2:4 / 1 Corinthian 4:20 / 1 Co 15:14 / Acts 4:13

By Covenant, God has ordained you to be a witness of his doings in this world for people to believe in Him. Hallelujah !

● Christianity has no meaning without the supernatural. Without the supernatural, Christianity is dead.

● One of the proofs of Christianity is the tangible, touchable transformation in the life of a mortal man. To me, that is the strongest evidence of Christianity.

● Christianity is not only a ticket to heaven, but also an empowerment to make impacts on earth.

*1 Corinthians 2:4*, Paul speaking, said, “My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power...”

*1 Corinthians 4:20*, “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.”

*1 Corinthians 15:14* And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.

In *Acts 4:13*, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

● *Father, in the name of Jesus...*

● *I PRAY WITH 1 Chronicles 11:1*, Anoint me for supernatural breakthrough. Nothing will stagnate in my life!

● *I PRAY WITH Mark 9:25* The enemy I have defeated yesterday will never come back to torment me as beforetime.

● *I PRAY WITH Revelation 12:10-12*, Any power holding back and hindering my testimony is crushed by the weight of the glory of God in the Name of Jesus Christ!

● *I PRAY WITH Joel 2:26-27*, Any power working to disgrace me and to ashame me is disgraced in the Name of Jesus Christ.

● *I PRAY WITH Genesis 21:22*, ... People who saw Abraham saw a blessed, prosperous and wealthy man. SO shall it be for me. People who look at me shall see me as a son/daughter of Abraham.
