*CHAPTER 1 | INTRODUCTION*

● Hannah was praying. Nothing happened. She continued in prayer. No Word from God or from the man of God.

● But when she engaged her heart, she moved the heart and the hand of God.

1 Sa 1:13  

● What is Hannah teaching us?

● Intercession prayer is effective only when it is originated and stimulated from the heart.

● Before we go further, there are 2 warnings from the Lord God

● WARNING 1 | Anything we do in the kingdom without the engagement and involvement of our heart is called by God HYPOCRISY

● WARNING 2 | Anything done without the engagement of the heart is considered vain in the eyes of God.

Mark 7:6-7 ... This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

However, in vain do they worship me ... 

● In vain means meaningless, worthless, a pretense, empty, fruitless, useless, and futile, you say it but you don’t mean it, pointless, void of true devotion, 

● In vain means wasted, 

● In vain also means without effect, without fruit, without result, without benefit, without meaning, without purpose or goal. Without reward.

● *TAKE NOTE  OF THIS FUNDAMENTAL TRUTH … *

● God is not moved by what you do. Not at all. 

● God does not reward what you do. Not at all. 

● God rewards only what you do with your heart

● Let me confirm from Scriptures …

Col 3:23  And whatsoever ye do, DO IT HEARTILY, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Col 3:24  KNOWING THAT OF THE LORD YE SHALL RECEIVE THE REWARD of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 

● You see? 

● Do it heartily […] Then … You shall receive the reward.

● In other words, do it heartlessly … You shall not receive the reward

● HOW DO I ENGAGE INTERCESSION HEARTILY?

1- Heartily means with joy, not with murmuring and complaining.

2 Corinthians 9:7 

2- Heartily means with understanding.

Psalm 47:7

1 Kings 3:9-10

"Jeremiah 3:15*

3- Heartily means with diligence, not with laziness.

Ecclesiastes 9:10

Hebrews 11:6

4- Heartily means excellently, not with mediocrity.

Malachi 1:8

5- Heartily means fully, with my whole being, not partially, not halfheartedly, not superficially.

Psalm 9:1

Psalm 86:12

Psalm 111:1

Matthew 15:8-9

WHAT TO DO ?

1- Be encouraged and Believe that God is the rewarder

Col 3:24

Hebrews 11:6 

2- Expect your reward from God, not from men

Colossians 3:24 

Prayer Points

1. | Lord help me to intercede heartily. ( With joy, understanding, diligence, excellently and with my whole being )

2. | Lord help me to expect reward from you and not humans. 

3. | Lord help me to be a cheerful (delightful, joyful, excitful, ...) intercessor.
