● In Mark 10:50, the Bible says that Bartimaeus cast away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus and received his sight back.
● Why did Bartimaeus cast away his old garment?
1 -He refused to be identified with beggars and poor...
2 - Beggars were marginalized. He refused to continue be part of the marginalized
3 - They were considered cursed. He refused to wear the garment of curse.
4 - His garment was heavy and weighing him down. He dropped it to gain speed.
● Today, refuse to be identified with beggars, poverty, curses, marginalized etc. Receive and put on you by faith your new garment in Jesus Name!
PRAYER GUIDELINES
Father, in the Name Of Jesus Christ,
● I pray ... Let it be taken away from me any garment of poverty, of financial struggle, of indebtness, of financial stagnation!
● I pray... Let it be taken away from me any garment of blindness, deafness, lameness, mental deficiency! ( Isa 35:5)
● I pray... Let it be taken away from me any garment of rejection, marginalization! Put on me the garment of social acceptance, social relevance, social importance! ( Eph 1:6)
● I pray... Let it be taken away from me any garment of curse, disgrace, disfavor! Put on me the garment of grace, favor, honor! ( Psalm 104:1)
● I pray... Let it be taken away from me any garment of social contempt, uselessness, voicelessness, vanity! Put on me the garment of prosperity, financial breakthrough, wealth! ( Daniel 5:29)
