*THE POWER OF THE PRAYER OF FAITH*

● As we prepare for the 3 days of fasting and prayer, know that *the prayer God answers is the prayer of faith*.

● It is written in *James 1:6*, " *Ask in faith*, nothing wavering...

*WHAT IS THE PRAYER OF FAITH?*

● The prayer of faith is a *specific prayer*.

When Bartimaeus was crying to the Lord, the Lord asked him, "... *What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?*" ( *Mark 10:51*). Jesus wanted him to be specific in his prayer. Bartimaeus said, " Lord, that I might receive my sight." For being specific, the Lord answered him and restored his sight.

● The prayer of faith is a *persistent prayer* (Eph 6:18)

Prayer encounters resistance from the powers of darkness. Only persistence will break it. It was not Moses rod that broke Pharaoh's resistance but his persistence.

● The prayer of faith is a *word based prayer*.

The best way to pray is with the Word (Eph. 6:17-19). We know that God hears us when we pray according to his Word that is his will.

● *Declare* : Lord, I desire a miracle evident that will silence my mockers and draw multitude to the Lord.
