Luke 10:18-19 "Jesus said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. [19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you".
Jesus made this statement after his disciples came back rejoicing to see demons bowing to them.
From this text, Jesus teaches us that Satan is a fallen angel, defeated and loser (Rev 12:7-9). He is intimidating like scorpions (Eze 2:6 / Rev 9:10) and subtle like a serpent (Gen 3:1)
In Christ, because of his anointing, you are above and higher than Satan. You have more power than him (1 John 4:4/ Eph 1:20-21) and you are called to crush him under your feet (Gen 3:15)
Pray:
- I will see the downfall of the enemy. He will never see mine.
- No devi will scare me
- Lord, expose any craftiness of the enemy and grant me discernment
- My feet are anointed to crush the enemy, serpents, scorpions, sickness, poverty, curses, humiliations, intimidations,
IN JESUS' NAME !
