*Luke 16:3*Then the steward said within himself, ... *to beg I am ashamed*.
*Who is a beggar ?* A beggar is a person, typically a homeless one, who lives by asking for money or food. By extension, one can also beg love, attention, presence, relationship etc.
Friend, as long as God cannot forsake you, never be tempted to beg anything from anybody.
David makes it clear in Psalms 37:25 that in the covenant with God, the righteous is not permitted to beg simply because they cannot be forsaken by God,
"I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."
*WHY BEGGING IS SHAMEFUL?*
1) It makes one lose respect from others
2) It makes one be voiceless in the society.
3) It makes one live as a liability and a burden rather than an asset.
4) It makes one live focused more on what to get from others than what to give to others.
5) It is a a curse since it makes one live dependent on others not on God
6) Beggars are given contemptuous names that kill their dignity
*TODAY, CONFESS ...*

- *Psalm 37:25* ... Me, my children and generations after me will never be forsaken and therefore never beg
- *2 Thessalonians 3:8* ... I will never be a burden to others
- *Acts 20:35* ... Giving will be a delight to me more than receiving
- *Galatians 3:13* ... I am blessed and redeemed from the curse of begging
- *Psalm 34:5/6* ... I will depend on God and God alone. My eyes will be on God and God on alone
