*READING OF THE DAY*
My Bible tells
me in Colossians 2:14 that Christ " blotted out the
handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and
took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross""
*RELECT*
Please
understand that on the cross, Christ has " blotted out"
the handwriting of ordinances. The word " blot out" comes
from the Greek Word "exaleipho" and means to destroy, to wipe out
and to reduce to nothingness. It speaks of eliminating something by rubbing or
anointing it out. It speaks of something being removed or reduced to
zero.
So understood,
let it be clear in our mind today that on the cross, anything written by the
devil to condemn us (sin, sickness, poverty, misery, depression, bareness,
sterility, mediocrity, dependence to drugs, ...) has been blotted out by
Christ.
You also, today,
Don't continue to carry on you what has already been destroyed and nailed on
the cross. Tear down and blot out of your memory the wrong people did to you
and spoke against you. Blot out bitterness and unforgiveness from your heart.
As you do so,
receive joyfulness, cheerfulness and freedom in the Name of Jesus Christ!
LET US PRAY …
*Prayer 1 | Bitterness will kill no one
but you!* (Read Hebrews 12:15)
Pray and say
...Father, heal and free me from bitterness. Feel me with joyfulness
*Prayer 2 | What happened yesterday can
never be changed. But, you do hold the
key to a better tomorrow*. (Read Isaiah 43:18)
Pray and say
... Father, I cannot change what happened. Help me to forget and move on!
*Prayer 3 | You should never allow the
hurts of yesterday to control your life today*. (Read
Job 5:18)
Pray and say
...Father, I admit I am hurting. Heal me today and forever!
*Prayer 4 | It is unhealthy to drag around
the baggage of what someone said, what someone did or how we were hurt. It does nothing but strangle the spiritual
life right out of you!* (Read Matthew 5:23-24)
Pray and say
... Father, restore my prayer life. Make my relationship with you right today !
So shall it be
Jesus is Lord
