*LET THEM CONTINUE TO TALK. YOU CONTINUE TO WALK ... *
*READ*
*Mark 10:34* And *they shall mock him*,... and the third day *he shall rise again*.
*REFLECT*
Today I fell compelled by the Holy Spirit to speak to someone who is being mocked because of failure in one or in another aspect of his/her life. Maybe you have a business. You are starting and people mock the small beginning.
When you read the Bible, you will notice that everybody who has ever walked with God in one way or in another faced the reality of mockery.
- Joseph was mocked for his dreams. ( *Genesis 37:20*)
- Hannah was mocked for being barren. ( *1 Samuel 1:6-7*)
- Goliath was mocking David because of his tender age and lack of experience. ( *1 Samuel 17:42*)
- Elisha was mocked because of the bald on his head. ( *2 Kings 2:23*)
- When Nehemiah was rebuilding the wall, he was mocked by Sanballat. ( *Nehemiah 4:1*)
- Mockers were mocking the small beginning of the rebuilding of the temple. ( *Zechariah 4:10*)
- Jesus was mocked for his geographical origin. ( *John 1:46*)
- Jesus was mocked when Lazarus died. ( *John 11:37*)
- The disciples of Jesus were locked in fear of being mocked after Jesus' deaath. ( *John 20:19*)
- Paul was mocked for his past. ( *Galatians 1:23*)
*I have a message from the Lord to you ...*
Don't mind the mockers. Mind your maker. Let them bark and talk. You continue to walk. Don't wish them death. Wish them long life. Why ? Because shortly, I mean shortly, those same mockers will become your admirers.
Watch this ... In the valley of the shadow of death, the enemies were barking but David continued walking. Later, David was feasting at the table and the enemies were starving before David ( *Psalm 23:4-5*)
So shall it be
Jesus is Lord
