YOU HAVE POWER TO CRUSH THE DEVIL
READ
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19).
REFLECT
According to today's text, Jesus says to you, "You have power to tread on the devil"
To tread on has two meanings :
The first meaning is "To crush under the foot; to trample in contempt or hatred, or to subdue. (Webster's American Dictionary of the English Language, 1828.).
The enemy can hurt you only if you allow him to be above you. He can only hurt you if you position yourself below and under him.
My friend, today, decide to get out from under the feet of the enemy by rising above him. You have that power in Christ
RESPOND IN PRAYER
🙏 Confession 1 | In Christ, to be hurt means to be below. I am saved to be above, not below. I rise today in the Name of Jesus Christ.
🙏 Confession 2 | In Christ, the Bible says, ," I am seated far above ALL principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and EVERY NAME that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come" ( Ephesians 1:21)
🙏 Confession 3 | In Christ, I am saved to crush, to tread on, to subdue, to trample the devil and his agents. It will never be the other way round ( Luke 10:19)
So shall it be
