Reading my Bible today in Genesis 7:17, the Bible says, "The flood continued for 40 days on the earth. THE WATER INCREASED AND LIFTED THE SHIP so that it rose HIGH ABOVE THE GROUND."
Reading my Bible today in Genesis 7:17, the Bible says, "The flood continued for 40 days on the earth. THE WATER INCREASED AND LIFTED THE SHIP so that it rose HIGH ABOVE THE GROUND."
Please, note in this text that Noah, his family and all the living creatures were in the ship built by Noah under the instruction of the Lord. The moment they entered the boat, rain started and water was increasing, destroying everything around : houses, fields, men, women, children, buildings, etc.
But while the water was destroying everything around, my Bible tells me that the same same water was lifting the ark until it rose high above the ground.
Ooooh ! Hallelujah ! I have a good news for somebody today.
The same way the waters were lifting the ark until it rose high, the same way the waters of affliction, of persecution, of tribulation, of pain, of humiliation, of misrepresentation, you go through today are not meant to destroy you but to promote you on higher realm.
Guess what?
The hatred of Joseph's brothers caused them to sell him in Egypt. But the love of God used it to lift Joseph in Egypt.
So shall it be
Jesus is Lord
