THE SPIRIT OF ABSALOM PART 2

Hebrews 12:15, "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled."
*REFLECT*
After his half brother Ammon raped his sister Tamar, Absalom spoke to her peacefully saying, "Hold now thy peace, my sister; he is your brother, regard not this thing" ( *2 Samuel 13:20*). Absalom never blamed or rebuked Amnon. Absalom never showed to Amnon his displeasure. Two full years, Absalom kept quiet and held the grudge in him preparing and planning his revenge until he killed Amnon.
*Absalom spirit* is a spirit of an unforgiving and revengeful man.
*Absalom spirit* is a silent, noiseless and unexpected killer.
*Absalom spirit* is a spirit of someone who can hold grudge against people for long but will never tell.
*Absalom spirit* is a spirit of someone who will never rebuke or blame others for the wrong they do but will keep in him proper record of it.
*Absalom spirit* is a spirit of someone who will never show his displeasure. He will keep quiet pretending all is well while preparing and planning his revenge.
SO SHALL IT BE!
