LORD, DESTROY THE VOICE AND THE WORK OF ZIBA THE SLANDERER

"CONTEXT OF THE TEXT*
One day, David the king thought on how to honour the memory of his late covenant friend Jonathan. He decided to hand over to Mephiboscheth, Jonathan's son all the possessions of King Saul. From no one Mephiboscheth became someone in the country.
In the process of time, it happened that a certain Ziba who was unhappy about it, set up a scheme to dispossess Mephiboscheth from his heritage by slandering him before David the king.
Unfortunately, the king believed the lie of Ziba and decided to take away half of the possession from Mephiboscheth and give it out to Ziba. From someone, Mephiboscheth went back again to no one because of Ziba the slanderer.
*APPLICATION*
Ziba is everywhere today. He is in church, at your workplace, in your family, among your friends. Ziba is a gossiper, an agent of the devil who works hard to misrepresent your God and to misrepresent you with the purpose of bringing you down, bringing your ministry down, bringing your marriage down.
Because of Ziba the slanderer, many have lost their jobs, plots, properties, relationships and all kind of privileges. Because of him, many others saw doors being closed without explanation.
Woe to anyone who stands to be a Ziba to others.
*RESPOND IN PRAYER*
Today we will pray the Lord of all righteousness to restore unto us whatever we have lost because of Ziba the slanderer.
We will also pray the Lord against that evil voice of Ziba the slanderer who works to dispossess us from our possession in the Name of Jesus Christ!
In the Name of Jesus Christ, no one will be victim of slander, gossips and false accusations of Ziba. No one will lose anything because of the evil ministry of Ziba. If ever you have lost anything because of Ziba, the Lord will expose him/her and he/she won't go unpunished.
