FROM THE BEGINNING IT WAS NOT SO

Matthew 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but *from the beginning it was not so*.
*REFLECT*
From today's text, the Lord Jesus Christ is teaching unto us in very clear terms that not everything that happens in our lives has been originally planned by God for us. According to Jesus, divorce has never been God's original plan for men. It was permitted because of men's stubbornness and hardness of heart.
Please take note of this fundamental truth. In our walk with God, we must make a clear difference between what " *God permits*" and what " *God has originally planned*"
What *God permits* is what God allows in our lives as a result of our stubbornness and hardness of heart since He cannot and never interfere with our free will.
What *God has originally planned* is God's original intention and purpose from the beginning made available for us if we are interested and willing to obey his instructions.
Let me give you a simple example. Hell has never been originally created for men. Jesus states it clearly in *Matthew 25:41* that hell has been created for the devil and his angels.
Let holy anger develop in your spirit as you compare your present life to God’s original plan!
*RESPOND IN PRAYER*
What in your life is not in alignment with God’s original plan?
Let us engage the Word today and go to our knees to move toward full recovery and restoration.

Prayer 5 | From the beginning, you were not created to be barren, unfruitful but to be fruitful. Pray with Exodus 23:26
Prayer 6 | From the beginning, you were not created to serve the devil and serve eternity in hell but to serve the Lord and share your eternity with him. Pray with Exodus 23:25/ Matthew 25:41.
