15 PROPHETIC PRAYERS OVER OUR CHILDREN
Reading my Bible today, I see a couple of people had serious challenges with their children.
We see Cain the son of Adam and Eve killing his brother Abel because of jealousy and anger.
We see Jacob and Esau, the children of Isaac fighting one another for many years because of the birthright.
We see the children of Jacob plotting evil against their brother Joseph because of their envy and jealousy regarding his dreams.
We see God killing the children of the High Priest Aaron for offering a strange fire on the altar.
We see God killing the children of Eli the priest for being immoral and disrespectful for the holy things.
We see David the man after God's heart failing terribly in his parenting because of his lust, immorality and uncontrolled sexual drive. Because of him, his sons were killing one another, fighting against one another, committing incest among them and were dangerously divided between them.
Parents, take responsibility and know that you are the gates of your families and houses. Don't allow the devil to pass through you and to use you to destroy your children. No matter who you are and wherever you are what you do and how you live have impact over your children.
FROM THIS MOUNTAIN, MAY THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY GRANT REST TO ALL OF OUR CHILDREN. NO CONCERN OVER THEM. NO REBELLIOUS SPIRIT IN THEM. NONE OF THEM WILL BE CAPTIVE OF THE ENEMY. IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !
Today at the mountain of recovery and restoration, I encourage you parents to pray and prophesy for your children and together with them according to the 15 prayer points below.
PRAYER 1 | My children are filled with the spirit of excellence; they excel in all they set their hands to; they’re diligent, motivated, and hard working [ Dan.6:3, prov.10:4]
PRAYER 2 | My children have a vision from heaven for their lives. They have so much vision, they hardly have time enough to do everything that you’ve put in their hearts to do. [Jer.29:11, Prov.29:18 ]
PRAYER 3 | They have confidence ,and it’s based on their relationship with the Lord . [Prov.3:26]
PRAYER 4 | They hear your voice, and the voice of a stranger they will not follow. [ Jn.10:5]
PRAYER 5 | My children hunger and thirst after you, Jesus. They’re meditators of your word and your will .[ Mat.5:6 , Josh.1:8 ]
PRAYER 6 | My children are wise . They bring joy to the hearts of their parents.[ Prov.10:1]
PRAYER 7 | My children turn away from foolishness. and they love to listen to correction and instruction [ Prov. 22:15, Prov.5:12]
PRAYER 8 | They have your favor on them and your wisdom with in them. [Ps.5:12]
PRAYER 9 | They walk in the Spirit, and they do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. [Gal.5:16]
PRAYER 10 | My children have the high calling of God upon their lives, and they choose life- the right way. God’s way , of doing things. They’re leaders and examples to many . [Phil.3:14, Deut.30:19 ]
PRAYER 11 | My children are true worshipers of you, God. They see themselves they way you see them. My children are winners, master-pieces and history makers. [Jn.4:23]
PRAYER 12 | They are head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. [Deut.28:13]
PRAYER 13 | Everything my children set their hands to prospers. [ Gen.39:3]
PRAYER 14 | My children choose wise and godly friendship. [ 1Cor.15:33]
PRAYER 15 | My children are patient, loving and kind. They’re courteous and positive. They’re filled with thankfulness and gratitude. They see the good in others, guard their mouths. [1 Cor.13:4-8, Ps. 141:3]
