AT THE MOUNTAIN OF RECOVERY AND RESTORATION ... DAY 36 ... NOTABLE MIRACLE

*READ*

*Acts 4:16* "What shall we do to these men for that indeed *a notable miracle* hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it" 

*REFLECT*

Miracles are not all the same. In the Bible there is a kind of miracles called "notable miracle".

What is a notable miracle? 

1/ From the text we have just read, *a notable miracle is manifest not to some or to few, but to all*, which means that it is a miracle that is evident, tangible, palpable, incontestable, undeniable, indubitable and indisputable.

2/ *Secondly, a notable miracle is a miracle that grieves the enemies and mockers, silences their opposition and closes their mouth.* 

In *Acts 4:14*, it is written, "and beholding the man which was healed standing with them, *they could say nothing*". 

3/ *Thirdly, a notable miracle is a miracle that has such a great impact that it turns a man into a wonder and an amazement to himself and to others.* 

In *Acts 3:10*, the Bible says that after being healed, people were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto the lame. He was yesterday worthless, good-for-nothing, useless, beggar. Now he has become a point of attraction, a subject of curiosity. 

4/ *Fourthly, a notable miracle is a miracle with such a visible impact that it draws multitude of men to Christ and to the church.*

Because of this miracle, in *Acts 3:11*, the Bible says that "all the people ran together in Solomon's porch greatly wondering". And in *Acts 4:4*, because of that miracle, 5000 men believed and were added to the church. 

5/ *Fifthly, a notable miracle is a miracle that glorifies the Lord.*

In *Acts 4:21*, the Bible says that “all men glorified God for that which was done”. 

6/ *Sixthly, a notable miracle is a miracle that gives weight to the preaching of the Word of God.* 

In *Acts 3:12*, when people came in multitude to see the miracle, Peter used it as an opportunity to speak and preach boldly in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ

7/ *Finally, a notable miracle is a miracle you don't need to talk about. It is so huge that it talks by itself.*

*RESPOND IN PRAYER*

If like that man born lame, you keep your expectation alive and your focus unbroken, the Lord God is telling you that this is the kind of miracle he will do for you. A miracle

- that will be seen to all and heard by all

- that will silence the mouth of your mockers and your enemies forever.

- that will turn you into a wonder and an amazement

- that will make multitude to come to the Lord because of you

- that will make people to glorify God because of you

- that will be used to confirm the power of the Word of God

- that you will not need to talk about but will talk bu itself
