TWO MAJOR ENEMIES OF BREAKTHROUGH
No one ever experiences breakthrough by standing before the obstacle, looking at it, admiring it, praising it the way most of us do. Breakthrough happens only when you hear the Word from God and you put it to work by taking action and moving forward.
OVERCOMING THE 2 MAJOR ENEMIES OF BREAKTHROUGH
1st key : DON'T BE STUCK IN YOUR PAST. MOVE FORWARD TO THE NEXT!
Isaiah 43:18-19 "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
Use the past as a place of reference. Don't make it your place of residence.
Before confronting Goliath, David looked backward to what God did with him in the past when he was in the bush. Based on it, he moved forward and killed Goliath.
Don't be stuck in the past disappointment. There is a divine appointment ahead. Move to it.
Don't be stuck in the past failure and mistakes. Learn from them. Repent. Embrace God's forgiveness and move forward to divine success ahead.
2nd key : DON'T BE STUCK IN YOUR FEAR. MOVE FORWARD TO YOUR BREAKTHROUGH BY YOUR FAITH!
Hebrews 11:27 "Faith led Moses to leave Egypt without being afraid of the king’s anger. Moses didn’t give up but continued as if he could actually see the invisible God."
Fear and breakthrough are two sides of the same coin.
Fear (of danger, of risk, of failure, of inadequacy,...) is one side of the coin the devil will always show you to stop you. Breakthrough is the other side God wants you to see with the eyes of your faith.
Therefore,
Do not be intimidated by the height of Goliath. Go forward.
Do not be intimidated by the Red Sea ahead of you. Go forward.
Do not be intimidated by the Jordan ahead of you. Go forward.
