DO YOU REALLY TRUST GOD?

Imagine a father in a swimming pool reaching out to his three-year-old child standing at the edge. The father says, "Jump!" Now the little child doesn't even have a thought of being afraid. He trusts his father's love and protection and jumps. And the father is there to catch him. That's faith.

ONE THING IS TO HAVE FAITH IN JESUS. ANOTHER THING IS TO TRUST JESUS. YOU HAVE FAITH IN JESUS WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN HIS ABILITY. YOU TRUST HIM WHEN YOU TAKE HIM TOO SERIOUSLY THAT YOU RELY ON HIS FAITHFULNESS WITHOUT WORRY, WITH ALL CALM AND WITH ALL CONFIDENCE"

In *Isaiah 26:3*, the Bible says, " *Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace*, whose mind is stayed on thee : *because he trusteth in thee*."

In *Hebrews 4:3*, it is written, "We which have *believed do enter into rest*,..."

*PRAYER 1* | Speak to your soul and command it to be at peace.

*Psalms 116:7* *Be at peace again, my soul*, because the LORD has been good to you.

*PRAYER 2* | Cast what worries you at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ and expect him to give you rest

*Matthew 11:28* "Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and *I will give you rest*.

*PRAYER 3* | With the eyes of your faith, see God as the loving and caring Father. Into his hands, recommend your soul.   

*Psalms 131:2* Surely I have behaved and *quieted myself*, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul [is] even as a weaned child.
