GOD OF DOUBLE RESTORATION

*REFLECT*
Throughout Scriptures, it is confirmed that our God is the *God of double restoration*.
Why is God called *God of double restoration* ? When God restores something, He doesn’t just set things back the way they were before, He goes above and beyond. *He makes things better than they were before*!
Zechariah 9:12, "...TODAY I DECLARE THAT I WILL RESTORE TO YOU DOUBLE."
*REFLECT*
Throughout Scriptures, it is confirmed that our God is the *God of double restoration*.
Why is God called *God of double restoration* ? When God restores something, He doesn’t just set things back the way they were before, He goes above and beyond. *He makes things better than they were before*!
When Israel the people of God was in exile, they were mocked by other nations, they were in shame, in reproach and in confusion. When God came to restore them, vowed and promised twice in Joel 2:26 and 27 that his people " *shall never be ashamed*".
In Isaiah 61:7, he promised again, " *For your shame ye shall have double..."
The same thing happened to Job. God allowed him to be smitten by the devil. He lost everything he had including his children. After that painful experience, it is written in Job 42:10 "...the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before."
NO MORE REPROACH. NO MORE SHAME IN YOUR LIFE FOREVER

*RESPOND IN PRAYER*
*What is it that brings shame and reproach in your life?* Today, you will yourself pray the Lord of double restoration to take it away. He did it to Israel, let him do it in you. He did it to Job, let him do the same for you.
PRAYER 1 | BARENNESS (fruitlessness, stagnation, failure, ...) BRINGS REPROACH . Cry to the Lord to break it in every area of your life and believe that he will. Pray today with ...
Genesis 30:23 "She conceived, and bore a son, and said, *God hath taken away my reproach*."
Luke 1:25 This is the grace that the Lord gave me when he looked upon me to take away my reproach among men
PRAYER 2 | FAMINE (poverty, limitation, struggle for survival, misery, sickness, mediocrity, joblessness, ...) BRINGS REPROACH. Cry to the Lord to take away such reproach in your life. Pray today and believe that He will.
Ezekiel 36:30 "And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
