AT THE MOUNTAIN OF RECOVERY AND RESTORATION

1 Samuel 30:18 And *David recovered all* that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. 30:19 And *there was nothing lacking to them*, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil nor any thing that they had taken from them; *David recovered all*.

REFLECT

What is restoration? Restoration is putting back in its initial place something which had undergone a deformation, an alteration, a damage, a deterioration or a devaluation. It's restoring someone in his right. It's giving someone what he lost.

In today's text, David had lost everything because of the Amalecites. Instead of getting discouraged and hopeless, the Bible says that he did three things : first of all, "*he encouraged himself in the Lord his God*" (1 Samuel 30:6), secondly, he prayed (1 Samuel 30:6) and thirdly, he pursued the Amalekites until he recovered all

In this mountain of recovery and restoration, I don’t know what you have lost. I don’t know what is altered or deteriorated in your life. But I know one thing that there is hope for you because God has enough power to operate supernatural restoration in your life.
