CHICKEN OR EAGLE ?

The hardest thing in the waiting moment is not the length of time one spends in waiting but the ability to handle pressure while waiting. 

Let me explain with few examples :

A married couple unable to conceive can find themselves under high social pressure of the family members, of friends or of neighbours. How to handle such pressure?

A man jobless and waiting on God for a job opportunity will surely undergo tough pressure of his wife if she is not supportive, of fees and bills to clear, etc. How to handle such pressure?

A lady or a man unmarried and waiting on God for a life partner will certainly face the pressure of friends, of parents, of running time, of others getting married around, etc. How to handle such pressure?


A believer who has received a promise from the Lord will face the pressure of tribulation, persecution, humiliation, mockery especially when nothing is physically visible. Some will ask, "where is your God?"; "Are you sure it was God?" How to handle such pressure?

What to do when undergoing pressure? What to do to handle pressure?

When reading my Bible, I am amazed to consider that God compares those who wait upon the Lord with eagles. We find it in Isaiah 40:31

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint."

GOOD NEWS !!! YOU WHO WAIT UPON THE LORD AND ARE FACING PRESSURE, KNOW THAT PRESSURE COMES TO TEST AND REVEAL WHETHER YOU ARE A SPARROW OR A CHICKEN OR AN EAGLE.

IF YOU ARE A CHICKEN OR A SPARROW, THE PRESSURE WILL PULL YOU DOWN AND CRUSH YOU. BUT IF YOU ARE AN EAGLE, THE PRESSURE WILL LIFT YOU HIGHER AND HIGHER.

PRAYER POINTS 

Prayer 1 | Does it happen to you that when you are under pressure, you easily give up? you get easily discouraged? you easily stop? you easily backslide? you easily go back to the things you have vomitted? If the answer is yes, then PRAY THE LORD TO CHANGE YOU FROM A CHICKEN TO AN EAGLE.

Prayer 2 | DECLARE AND PRAY ... IN CHRIST, I AM AN EAGLE. I BELONG TO THE SKY NOT TO THE GROUND. I AM CALLED TO BE ABOVE ONLY NOT TO BE CRUSHED. I THEREFORE TREAD UPON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT ME IN THE NAME OF JESUS-CHRIST”

SO SHALL IT BE
