THE NORTH WIND SYMBOLISES THE MINISTRY OF RAIN AND REVIVAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ON THE EARTH
We find the North Wind in two places in the Bible:
In Proverbs 25:23, it is written,
"The north wind driveth away rain: so [doth] an angry countenance a backbiting tongue."
In Song of Solomon 4:16, the Bible says,
"Awake, O north wind, And come, wind of the south; Make my garden breathe out fragrance, Let its spices be wafted abroad. May my beloved come into his garden And eat its choice fruits!"
APPLICATION
In Israel, the lack of rain equals closed heaven. It was seen as a curse and a disfavor because it was a consequence of sin and rebelliousness of the people. (1 Kings 8:35. Jeremiah 3:3). When there is no rain, it spells death. Crops die. Animals die for lack of pasture. Men die. Everything dries. (Joel 1:18-20)
GOOD NEWS!!On the cross, Jesus made himself a curse for us to be curse free. After his ascension, the Father opened heaven for the North Wind to blow and to bring rain of blessings, of favor, of grace, of prosperity, of revival, of life, new life.
PRAYERS = PRAYERS = PRAYERS
Pray that the rain of the Holy Spirit will blow over every area of your life where death seems to linger – be it your finances, your health, in the area of your education, your ministry and or your family IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
When it rains, we see children running around enjoying the showers of blessings. As the Spirit of God is pouring the rain of blessings on you today, I decree that a season of celebration has come your way this day and the enemy will not be able to steal your joy anymore IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
The North Wind has potential enhancing capacities. The spices were in the garden but they required the blowing of the north wind for them to sprout forth. Likewise, the rain of the Holy Spirit will blow many people have vast untapped potentials but require the wind of God to blow across their lives for them to be fruitful IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
