THE STONE IS ALREADY ROLLED AWAY
Strong
and tough devices were put into place by the devil and his agents to prevent
the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The
Jewish authorities had put additional security measures in place to ensure that
the Lord's body would remain in the tomb (Matthew
27: 62-66). The imposing door was sealed with the Roman seal. Anyone who dared
to break the seal was subject to severe punishment, such as imprisonment or
even death. A patrol of well trained Roman soldiers had been deployed to ensure
maximum security. It was very dangerous and almost impossible for anyone to
enter or exit the grave.
To
open this door weighing one to two tons, many strong men were needed. This
preoccupied the women who were going to anoint the body of Jesus: "And
they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of
the sepulchre? “ (Mark 16: 3)
While
they were anxious, while they could not be able to see any light ahead, while
everything was unclear and fuzzy on that Sunday morning, they did not allow the
anxiety to stop them. They advanced and continued until they reached the tomb.
At
the tomb, they did not know that the stone had already been rolled by the
angels who went ahead of them as we can read in Mark 16: 4: "And
when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very
great.”
Are
you asking yourselves the same question for your finances? For your work? For
your academics? For your wedding and
marriage ? For the payment of your rent? Your debts? Are you in a situation in
front of which you are helpless and unable to do anything?
Brother,
sister, I have a word of encouragement for you today:
Do
not allow worry and anxiety to stop you. Go ahead and continue walking because
the stone you are worrying about has been already rolled away.
Even
if you don’t see anything in front of you right now, advance and go ahead because
the door you are worrying about will never be opened by your strength, by your
abilities or by your own resources. It will be opened for you by the power of
the resurrection of the Lord Himself provided that you do not stop, but you
advance.
The
Red Sea will never open before those who contemplate it. It will open before
those who, by the order of the Lord, will obey and go forward.
In
Exodus 14:15, the Lord said to Moses, "Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak
unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:"
CONCLUSION
JESUS
CHRIST IS THE RESURRECTION AND LIFE. He is no longer
in the grave. You also are no longer there. Your marriage is no longer there, the
fruits of your womb are no longer there, your whole life is no longer there ...
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS AND PRAYERS
No
matter what obstacles the enemy places on your path, GO AHEAD because the Lord himself will take them away!
Pray with Isaiah 57:14
No
matter the fear that controls you and attacks you, GO AHEAD because the Lord is in control of your feelings and emotions!
Pray with Psalm 27:1-3
No
matter the unstable or uncertain environment in which you find yourself, GO AHEAD because the Lord is in control of everything!
Pray with Psalm 23:4
Do
not be intimidated by Goliath's height. GO
AHEAD because the Lord himself will bring him low in front of you!
Pray with 1 Samuel 17:49-51
Do
not be intimidated by the Red Sea and the Jordan in front of you. GO AHEAD because the Lord himself will part
them in front of you!
