RESURRECTION MEANS RESTORATION

According to the dictionary, proof is defined as evidence or argument establishing a fact or the truth of a statement. In Acts 1: 3 we read the following:

"To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:"

Here are some biblical proofs of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and their involvement in our daily lives

1st proof: The empty tomb

It is an undeniable fact that our Lord Jesus Christ is no longer in the grave. This fact is attested not only in Scriptures, but also in history. Indeed, we know the location of the graves of Confucius, Muhammad, and all other historical names, but till this day, the tomb of our Lord is and remains empty.

2nd proof: The apparitions

To prove that he is truly resurrected, our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to many in the Bible and continues to appear until now.

3rd proof: The pierced hands, the pierced feet and the rib pierces.

When Thomas was doubting the evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Lord appeared to him and showed him his pierced hands, his pierced feet, and his pierced ribs saying to him,

"Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. " (John 20:27).

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THOSE PROOFS TODAY?

They mean many things among which one major: Resurrection means Restoration.

What is restoration? Restoration is putting back in its initial place something which had undergone a deformation, an alteration, a damage, a deterioration or a devaluation. It's restoring someone in his right. It's giving someone what he lost.

In this season of resurrection, I don’t know what you have lost. I don’t know what is altered or deteriorated in your life. But I know one and only one thing that the power of the resurrection is available to operate supernatural restoration in your life.

* God is able to restore your lost position

* God is able to restore all that is scattered in your life

Read and pray with Deuteronomy 30: 3 / Psalm 126: 4

* God is able to restore all that is in the hands of the wicked and bring them back into your hands

* God is able to restore your health and heal you from your wounds

Read and pray with Jeremiah 30:17

* God is able to restore your lost joy

Read and pray with Psalm 51:12

* God is able to restore your lost years

Read and pray with Joel 2:25
