PRAYERS OF PROOFS ... DAY 12 ...ANGELS AND RESURRECTION

FRIDAY 24 MARCH 2018
ANGELS AND RESURRECTION

Angels have always been associated with the life of Jesus Christ from his birth to his ascension through his resurrection from the dead.

At his conception, the angel Gabriel came down to announce the News to his mother. (Luke 1:26)

At birth, the angels were sent to announce the New to the shepherds and to lead them to Bethlehem. (Luke 2: 9)

In the beginning of his ministry, the angels were with him in the wilderness to serve him. (Matthew 4:11)

During his agony at Gethsemane, the angels came to comfort and encourage him to face the cross. (Mark 1:13)

In his resurrection the angels appear again to announce the News to the women.

What was the mission of the angels in the resurrection of Jesus Christ?

1st mission: Roll away the stone that the enemy had placed at the entrance of the tomb of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:2 "And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it."
Second mission: Terrorise the guards at the door of Jesus Christ's grave.
Matthew 28:4 "And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men."
Third Mission: Confirm and show women the evidence that Jesus Christ was really resurrected and send them to announce the news to the disciples.
Matthew 28:5-6 "He is risen, as he had said. Come, see the place where he was laid, And then tell his disciples that He is risen from the dead ... "
Fourth mission: Remind the women the words the Lord had told them while he was alive.
Luke 24:6 "He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,"
Fifth mission: Encourage the women so that they won't cry and won't be afraid.
Matthew 28:5 "... Do not be afraid..."
Mark 16:6 "And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted ... "
Luke 24:5 "And as they were afraid, and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?»

CONCLUSION : WHAT TO DO TO ACTIVATE THE ANGELIC MINISTRY?

If Jesus Christ needed angels during his earthly life, God knows you need them too.

1) ANGELS MINISTER TO US WHEN OUR MOUTH CONFESSES AND PROCLAIMS THE WORD OF GOD

From Scriptures, it is established that angels listen to us speaking God's Word. And when we speak God's Word, angels rush to perform it in our lives.
"Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, HEARKENING UNTO THE VOICE OF HIS WORD." (Psalm 103:20 KJV)
2) ANGELS MINISTER TO US WHEN WE ENGAGE PRAYER ON OUR ALTAR BOTH PERSONALLY AND CORPORATELY AS THE BODY OF CHRIST

In
Acts 12:5, the Bible says that the church in Jerusalem prayed for Peter when he was in prison. By their prayer, the angelic ministration was made available to deliver Peter out of prison.

3) ANGELS MINISTER TO US WHEN WE ARE ON DUTY SERVING GOD AND THE INTERESTS OF HIS KINGDOM
Luke 1:38 "And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her."
