THE SUPERIORITY OF CHRIST

LET US HAVE A LOOK AT JESUS’ SUPERIORITY IN THE BIBLE

1) Christ is superior to Abraham

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

2) Christ is superior to Jacob

John 4:12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

3) Christ is superior to Moses 

Hebrews 3:3 For this [man] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

4) Christ is superior to David 

Acts 13:36  For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: 37 But he [JESUS], whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

5) Christ is superior to John the Baptist

Mark 1:7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

6) Christ is superior to angels

Hebrews 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

7) Christ is superior to Satan, demons and evil spirits

Ephesians 1:20 Christ [is seated] at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

8) Christ is superior to the physical elements of the nature (water, wind, air, earth, etc.)

Mark 4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

9) Christ is superior to all the challenges of humanity on the planet earth (sickness, oppression, depression, stress, ...)

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

= PRAISE = PRAISE = PRAISE =

CELEBRATE, PRAISE AND WORSHIP THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS SUPERIORITY ACCORDING TO THE 9 POINTS MENTIONED ABOVE.

SO SHALL IT BE!
