"SURELY THERE IS AN END"

SCRIPTURE 

"For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off." (Proverbs 23:18) 

• THERE WAS AN END TO SARAH'S LONG LASTING BARENESS. THERE IS ALSO AN END TO YOUR LONG LASTING CASE

25 years of bareness came to an end and Sara's story changed in one day (Genesis 21:2)

• THERE WAS AN END TO JACOB'S LONG LASTING HARDSHIP AND POVERTY. THERE IS ALSO AN END TO YOUR LONG LASTING CASE

20 years of hardship into Laban's house came to an end and Jacob's story changed in one day (Genesis 31: 13)

• THERE WAS AN END TO ISRAEL'S LONG LASTING SLAVERY. THERE IS ALSO AN END TO YOUR LONG LASTING CASE.

430 years of slavery in Egypt came to an end and the story of the whole nation changed in one day. (Exodus 12:41)

• THERE WAS AN END THE TO LONG LASTING PARALYSIS AND SICKNESS OF THIS PARALYTIC. THERE IS ALSO AN END TO YOUR LONG LASTING CASE.

38 years of paralysis came to an end and the story of the paralytic changed in one day. (John 5:9)

• THERE WAS AN END TO THE LONG LASTING INFIRMITY OF THIS WOMAN. THERE IS ALSO AN END TO YOUR LONG LASTING CASE.

18 years of infirmity came to an end and the story of the woman changed in one day. (Luke 13: 11-12)

3 RELEVANT FORCES TO TERMINATE LONG LASTING SITUATIONS

What is this long lasting issue you would like to see God to put an end to? The Bible provides unto us 3 relevant forces :

1st force : THE FORCE OF CRYING UNTO THE LORD

• In the book of Psalms, anytime David was in distress and crying unto the Lord, something was always happening from the Lord

(Psalms 3:4; Psalms 18:6; Psalms 30:2; Psalms 34:6; Psalms 107:6; Psalms 107:13; Psalms 120:1) 

• In the belly of the big fish, Jonah cried to the Lord and said, "I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, [and] thou heardest my voice." (Jonah 2:2)

• When Peter was sinking in the raging waters, he cried to the Lord to save him. As soon as he cried, the Lord reached out his hand toward him and rescued him (Matthew 14:30)

• The woman of Canaan cried to the Lord despite the opposition of the crowd and the Lord put an end to her misfortune (Matthew 15:22) 

• The two blind men cried to the Lord despite the opposition of the crowd and the Lord put an end to their blindness (Matthew 20:30)

2nd force : THE FORCE OF UNSHAKABLE EXPECTATION

IT is written in Proverbs 23:18 

"For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off."

• Caleb kept his expectation alive and at the end he got his portion in the promise land  (Joshua 14:6-13)

• Simeon kept his expectation alive and at the end he saw the fulfilment of the promise (Luke 2:29)

3rd force : THE FORCE OF FAITH IN ACTION

• The 4 lepers who used to stay at the gate begging for food made a move of faith unto the camp of the Syrians to terminate their financial predicament. As they did, the Lord turned their footsteps into noise of chariots and great army and the siege was over.

2 Kings 7:5 "And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, [there was] no man there."

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS AND PRAYERS

PRAYER 1 | FATHER, PROVIDE WINGS THAT WILL HELP ME TO RISE ABOVE ANY FAILURE, ANY FATIGUE AND ANY FRUSTRATION IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

PRAYER 2 | FATHER, GIVE ME SPIRITUAL ENERGY TO DEAL WITH EMOTIONAL LETDOWN AND EMPOWER ME TO MOVE FORWARD IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

PRAYER 3 | FATHER, IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I REBUKE AND SILENCE ANY VOICE WHISPERING ME TO QUIT, TO GIVE UP OR TO GO BACK TO THE THINGS I HAVE VOMITTED.

PRAYER 4 | MY GOD AND MY LORD, LIFT MY HEAD ABOVE THE WATERS OF OPPOSITION AND CHALLENGES OF LIFE. HELP ME  TO KEEP ON DOING WELL AND TO ANWAYS KEEP THE END IN MIND IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

SO SHALL IT BE!
