KEYS TO OPEN HEAVEN ... KEY NUMBER 12 RIVER JORDAN OR DEAD SEA?

DATE : WEDNESDAY 15.11.2017
TOPIC : RIVER JORDAN OR DEAD SEA?

Jesus was not baptized in the Dead Sea. Jesus was baptized in the River Jordan. Heaven was not opened on the dead sea. Heaven was opened on the River Jordan.

What is the difference between the River Jordan and the Dead Sea ?

The River Jordan receives its water from three principal sources, all of which rise at the foot of Mount Hermon. After receiving, the River Jordan does not keep the water  but runs it down to the Dead Sea.

Contrary to the River Jordan which receives and gives out, the Dead Sea takes water from the River Jordan, and holds it. It does not give. Result? No life at all. That's why it is called Dead Sea.

In the River Jordan water comes in and water goes out. However, the Dead sea is in “receive only” mode.  All water flows in, and none flows out. It happens therefore that One sea is full of flow… the other sea, full of woe.

WHAT DOES IT TEACH US TODAY?

1st lesson : If we get the Dead Sea mentality of merely taking in more water, more money, more everything there is no way we can expect the open heaven experience.
PRAY that the Lord will destroy the Dead Sea mentality in you
PRAY with Acts 20:35 "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."

2nd lesson : Good idea to make sure that in the sea of your own life, you have outlets. Many outlets. For love and wealth – and everything else that you get in your life. Make sure you don’t just get, you give too. Open the taps. And you’ll open the floodgates to happiness.

PRAY that the Lord will cause the taps of your life be opened to bring more joy, more peace, more blessings to the people around you?
PRAY with Isaiah 58:10 "Give some of your own food to feed those who are hungry and to satisfy the needs of those who are humble, then your light will rise in the dark, and your darkness will become as bright as the noonday sun.

3rd lesson : The River Jordan is a life-giving source of fresh water and fish. The gifts of God in your life are to be used for others, not kept selfishly for ourselves. When we give what we have received, we flourish; when we hoard we perish.

PRAY that the Lord will bless you so that you will be a blessing. Pray that he will use you to live for others and in the side of givers not only of receivers
PRAY with Ephesians 4:28 Thieves must quit stealing and, instead, they must work hard. They should do something good with their hands so that they’ll have something to share with those in need.

SO SHALL IT BE!
JESUS IS LORD!
