MIRACLE 8 JESUS HEALS THE CRIPPLED WOMAN
TEXT : Luke 13:11-16
Today's text draws our attention to the following 6 observations which I ask you to consider carefully in a prophetic atmosphere of expectation, faith and prayer.
AS YOU GO THROUGH YOUR MOMENT OF MEDITATION AND PRAYER, KEEP IN MIND ONE THING : AS A SON/DAUGHTER OF ABRAHAM, IT IS ILLEGAL FOR YOU TO BE BOUND BY THE DEVIL
AS YOU GO THROUGH YOUR MOMENT OF MEDITATION AND PRAYER, KEEP IN MIND ONE THING : AS A SON/DAUGHTER OF ABRAHAM, IT IS ILLEGAL FOR YOU TO BE BOUND BY THE DEVIL
OBSERVATION 1 ►WHEN THE BIBLE MENTIONS THE NUMBER OF YEARS OF THE AFFLICTION, IT IS NOT IN VAIN◄
It is written in Luke 13:11 "There was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years ... "
Lesson: As a reader turns the pages of a book, the Lord is able to turn the page of your years of affliction if only you can have faith that he is able to do it for you.
Prayer: What is the endless page of misery that you want the Lord to turn into your life? Pray about it NOW !
OBSERVATION 2 ►THE WOMAN NEVER EVER PRAYED FOR HER HEALING. SHE WAS JUST THERE WHERE JESUS WAS TEACHING◄
It is written in Luke 13:10 "And Jesus was teaching ..."
Lesson: Just as the moon reflects the light of the sun through its proper positioning, so your miracle is a function of your proper positioning to the Word of the Lord
Prayer: Ask the Lord for His intervention and help so that you will always be at the right time and at the right place in His plan.
OBSERVATION 3 ►JESUS DID 3 THINGS BEFORE HE COULD FREE HER : HE SAW HER, HE CALLED HER, HE DECREED HER DELIVERANCE AND HE LAID HIS HANDS ON HER◄
It is written in Luke 13:12, it is written " Jesus saw her, he called her to him , and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity."
Lesson: Men might ignore you, but the Lord sees you. Men might call you names, but the Lord calls you by your name. Today, the Lord decrees your deliverance.
Prayer: By faith, appropriate the divine decree of your deliverance today.
OBSERVATION 4 ►THE WOMAN'S DELIVERANCE WAS INSTANT AND FOLLOWED WITH AN INSTANT PRAISE◄
It is written in Luke 13:13 And he laid [his] hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
Lesson: Believe that the Lord has the power to intervene instantly in your life.
Prayer: What do you want the Lord to do for you now? Expose it to Him.
OBSERVATION 5 ►THE WOMAN'S DELIVERANCE ANGERED THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS ◄
It is written in Luke 13:14 "And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day."
Lesson: Between living the divine supernatural in your life and living a slave of religious traditions, the choice belongs to you.
Prayer: Go before the Lord and break everything that keeps you a slave to human customs and traditions
OBSERVATION 6 ►JESUS REVEALS THE WHY OF THIS MIRACLE : THIS WOMAN, BEING THE DAUGHTER OF ABRAHAM, WAS ILLEGALLY BOUND BY SATAN◄
It is written in Luke 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
Lesson : What was illegal was not the fact that Jesus healed her on the sabbath day. What was illegal was the fact that a daughter of Abraham was bound by Satan for 18 years.
Prayer: Go before the Lord as the son / daughter of Abraham and revoke all that you know to be illegal and contrary to the covenant in your life.
