⏩ COVENANT MONTH OF DOMINION ⏪ DAY 27 "JESUS HAS BROKEN DOWN THE WALL"

SCRIPTURE

"For [Jesus Christ] is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us]" (Ephesians 2:14)

Among many, one of the powerful proofs of Jesus' resurrection was his appearances to people. 

Despite locked doors, Jesus was able to appear to his people. Which simply shows to us that after his resurrection, locked doors became irrelevant for Jesus and could no longer stop him in anyway.

"Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when THE DOORS WERE SHUT where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you." (John 20:19)

"And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, THE DOORS BEING SHUT, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you." (John 20:26)

We live in a locked doors society. People live in locked doors because of fear, because of unhealed wounds, because of pride, because of shame, because of hatred, because of bitterness, etc. 

Just as Jesus came to the disciples who had locked themselves into a room, so God comes to us by entering the locked places of our lives breaking down the wall of fear, the wall of unhealed wounds, the wall of pride, the wall of shame, the wall of hatred, the wall of bitterness, etc.

"For [Jesus Christ] is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us]" (Ephesians 2:14)

QUESTION : What is locking you in? Is it fear? Is it unhealed wounds? Is it pride? Is it shame? Is it hatred? Is it bitterness?

Jesus invites you today to step out of the locked places by breaking down the walls that lock you in so that you will experience the goodness of resurrection.

PRAYER 1 | PRAY TO BREAK DOWN THE WALL OF FEAR

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

PRAYER 2 | PRAY TO BREAK DOWN THE WALL OF UNHEALED WOUNDS

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

PRAYER 3 | PRAY TO BREAK DOWN THE WALL OF PRIDE

Isaiah 26:5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, [even] to the ground; he bringeth it [even] to the dust.

PRAYER 4 | PRAY TO BREAK DOWN THE WALL OF SHAME AND REPROACH

Isaiah 61:7 You will receive a double measure of wealth instead of your shame. You will sing about your wealth instead of being disgraced. That is why you will have a double measure of wealth in your land. You will have everlasting joy.

PRAYER 5 | PRAY TO BREAK DOWN THE WALL OF HATRED

Ephesians 2:14 So [Jesus] is our peace. In his body he has made Jewish and non-Jewish people one by breaking down the wall of hostility (hatred, enmity, ...) that kept them apart.

PRAYER 6 | PRAY TO BREAK DOWN THE WALL OF BITTERNESS

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice.
