"He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places" (2 Samuel 22:34)
KEY STATEMENT
From Scriptures, the place where the people of God belong is called HIGH PLACES. We find this truth in Deuteronomy 32:13, where the Bible says,
"He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock"
We find it again in 2 Samuel 22:34
"He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places"
As we have read in those Scriptures, it appears clearly that riding into high places is the doing of the Lord God himself. It is God who leads his people to high places.
In order to make it possible, God does not only lead his people, but he also provides wings to them to enable them to fly to high places.
It is written in Exodus 19:4
"Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself."
WHAT IS A WING?
A wing is an appendage of an animal's (bird, bat, insect) body that enables it to fly.
WHAT DOES THIS DEFINITION MEAN IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM ?
1) God is not a bird. God is God. God is Spirit. But in order to use an understandable human language, he is pictured as an eagle.

- He is even under us to carry us

2) By redemption and by reason of the covenant with God, all the redeemed are ordained to be eagles ad their Redeemer is an eagle.
1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
TO WHO DOES GOD PROVIDE WINGS TO FLY HIGH?
Whenever God gives us a specific analogy in the Bible, what He wants us to do is to seek into what the analogy is all about so we can fully understand what He is trying to convey to us.
1) HE PROVIDES WINGS TO HIS COVENANT BRIDE
In Revelation 12:14, we see God providing the woman (image of his church) wings of eagles so she can fly.
"But the woman WAS GIVEN THE TWO WINGS OF A GIANT EAGLE SO THAT SHE COULD FLY OUT INTO THE WILDERNESS, to the place God prepared for her, where she is taken care of- away from the presence of the serpent- for a time, times, and half a time."
A WORD FROM THE LORD TO YOU
- AS A BRIDE OF THE LORD, JESUS HAS PAID A HUGE PRICE BY DYING ON THE CROSS FOR YOU. THEREFORE, YOUR PLACE IS NO LONGER AMONG THE CHICKEN BUT AMONG THE HIGH FLYERS EAGLES.
- WHATEVER THAT WAS SLOWING YOU DOWN IN LIFE FALLS UNDER DIVINE JUDGMENT BECAUSE YOUR BRIDEGROOM PROVIDES TO YOU WINGS FOR SUPERNATURAL SPEED AND UPLIFTING IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
2) HE PROVIDES WINGS TO HIS EXPECTANT REDEEMED WHO WAIT FOR HIM
In Isaiah 40:31, we see again God saying,
"But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; THEY WILL GET WINGS like eagles:running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness." (BBE)
A WORD FROM THE LORD TO YOU
- ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURES, THERE IS NO DISAPPOINTMENT TO THOSE WHO EXPECT FROM THE LORD.
- THINGS APPARENTLY SEEM SLOW WHEN SOMEBODY WAITS UPON THE LORD. BUT IN REALITY WAITING UPON THE LORD SECURES ENERGY FOR A LONG RUN RACE BECAUSE LIFE IS NOT ABOUT HOW FAST YOU GO BUT ABOUT HOW FAR YOU GO.
3) HE PROVIDES WINGS TO HIS FAITHFUL SERVANTS
In Isaiah 52: 13, the Bible says
“Look, my servant will succeed ! HE WILL BE ELEVATED, LIFTED HIGH, and greatly exalted"
A WORD FROM THE LORD TO YOU
- YOU CANNOT SERVE THE MOST HIGH GOD AND NOT BE HIGH LIFTED BY GOD.
4) HE PROVIDES WINGS TO HIS SONS ADDICTED TO HIS GUIDANCE
In Exodus 19:4, God says to Israel his firstborn
‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt and how I LIFTED YOU ON EAGLES’ WINGS and brought you to myself.
Again in Deuteronomy 32:11-13, He says
"Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, so THE LORD SPREAD OUT HIS WINGS AND TOOK HIM, HE LIFTED HIM UP ON HIS PINIONS."
12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
A WORD FROM THE LORD TO YOU
- TO RIDE OVER OR TO DRIVE OVER THE HEIGHTS OF A COUNTRY IS FIGURATIVELY TO SUBJUGATE AND TAKE POSSESSION OF THAT COUNTRY. AS YOU COVENANT TO SURRENDER YOURSELF TO THE GUIDANCE OF THE MOST HIGH, I SEE THE MOST HIGH GOD CAUSING YOU TO RIDE THE HIGH PLACES OF THE EARTH IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS AND PRAYERS
# IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, I PRAY THAT THE FATHER WILL EMPOWER YOU TO WAIT UPON HIM, TO SERVE HIM TIRELESSLY AND TO BE TIRELESSLY GUIDED BY HIM SO THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE WINGS TO FLY HIGH.

# I PRAY MY HEAVENLY FATHER TO SHADOW YOU, TO COVER YOU, TO HIDE YOU AND TO CARRY YOU UNDER HIS WINGS TODAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

# IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, YOU ARE ORDAINED TO BE A HIGH FLYER. THEREFORE, GET OUT OF THE CHICKEN COMPANY AND JOIN THE COMPANY OF HIGH FLYERS
DECLARE AND PRAY____________________
SO SHALL IT BE!
