SCRIPTURE
Numbers 22:6,
"Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they [are] too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, [that] we may smite them, and [that] I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest [is] blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed."
KEY STATEMENT
A threat is defined as a person or thing likely to cause damage or danger. It is also a declaration of an intention or determination to inflict punishment, injury, etc.,
The Bible makes it clear that Satan is constantly and permanently a threat to every genuine believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
In John 10:10, the Lord identifies the devil as the thief, the murderer and the destroyer. He says,
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly."
In 1 Peter 5:8, Peter describes Satan as the roaring lion, saying, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour"
However, it is not enough to know that the devil is a threat to the believer. The believer should also know that he is ordained by God to be a threat to the Devil, his demons and his agents. Otherwise, he will live his entire life as a victim not as a victor.
That's why in Luke 10:19, Jesus says to the disciples,
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT THREATEN THE DEVIL ?
Throughout Scriptures, it appears clearly that the devil is threatened by:

- the unstoppable advancement of the people of God
- the continuous growth of the people of God
- the prevailing power of the blessing of God upon his people.
WHY IS THE DEVIL THREATENED ?
1st reason : The devil is threatened by the advancement of the people of God because the more they advance, the more they will crush him under their feet.
In the book of Numbers, we read about Balak the King of Moab who was threatened by the advancement and the encampment of Israel in his plains. Why was he afraid ? We find the reason in Numbers 22:4 where he speaks to the responsible men of Midian,
"It is clear that this great people will be the destruction of everything round us, making a meal of us as the ox does of the grass of the field."
A WORD FOR YOU : KNOW THAT YOUR ADVANCEMENT IS A THREAT TO THE DEVIL AND HIS AGENTS. YOU WILL NO LONGER BE A MEAL OF THE DEVIL BECAUSE IN CHRIST, YOU ARE EMPOWERED TO CRUSH HIM UNDER YOUR FEET ... MOVE FORWARD ...
2nd reason : The devil is threatened by the growth of the people of God because the more they grow the more they will dispossess him from his territories.
Not only the king of Moab was threatened by the advancement of the people, he was also afraid of their number. The fear was so intense that the Bible says "Moab was distressed..."
It is written in Numbers 22:3 "And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they [were] many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel."
A WORD FOR YOU : YOUR SEASON TO CAUSE STRESS TO THE DEVIL HAS FINALLY COME. ONLY, WORK HARD AT YOUR PERSONAL GROWTH AND DON'T ALLOW HIM TO STOP IT.
3rd thing : The devil is threatened by the prevailing power of the blessing of God upon his people because the more they are blessed the more he is powerless.
The presence of Israel was so threatening to the Moabites that the king Balak looked for Balaam an enchanter and false prophet to curse the people of God. In Numbers 22:5, the Bible says,
V 5 Balak sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which [is] by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me:Why did he invite Balaam? Balak knew that the secret behind the unstoppable advancement of Israel was the blessing of the Lord. He knew that as long as they are blessed it is impossible to prevail over them. Therefore, the only way to stop them was to curse them. That's what he says to Balaam in Numbers 22:6,
V 6 "Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they [are] too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, [that] we may smite them, and [that] I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest [is] blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed."
A WORD FOR YOU : BY REDEMPTION, YOU ARE UNCURSABLE AND UNDEFEATABLE BECAUSE NO ENCHANTMENT CAN WORK AGAINST YOU (Numbers 23:23)
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS AND PRAYERS
# I SEE THE BLESSING OF THE LORD TURNING YOU INTO A LIVING THREAT TO THE WORLD OF DARKNESS IN YOUR GENERATION.

# I SEE YOU BEING EMPOWERED TO CRUSH THE DEVIL UNDER YOUR FEET. (Luke 10:19)

# TODAY I PRAY THAT THE MIGHTY GOD OF HOSTS WILL REVERSE ANY CURSE SPOKEN AGAINST YOU AND SEND IT BACK TO THE SENDER IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
DECLARE AND PRAY ______________________
# TODAY I PRAY THAT MY FATHER IN HEAVEN WILL EMPOWER YOU TO ADVANCE CONTINOUSLY AND UNSTOPPABLY IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
SO SHALL IT BE!
